I will be having my breast reduction on January...

WORTH IT$12,000
I will be having my breast reduction on January 17th. I have always been large breasted, but they became out of control after too much weight fluctuation and will not shrink a significant amount on their own. The neck and shoulder pain has increased over the past few years and I am finally ready. My insurance will not be covering the procedure because it is specifically excluded in the policy, even for "medically" necessary. The one good thing about this is that I was able to choose any surgeon I wanted.

Best wishes! My reduction was on 12/28. No nausea, healing well. I was a 32I/J and had 5 lbs removed. So much more comfortable now, even with healing pains!

I have been sick the last couple days and hope that the office is open tomorrow so I can call and speak with them. It is just a cold so nothing serious, but I'm still worried they won't do the surgery .

It happened to me in November. Bronchitis. I was scheduled for my surgery November 10, had to move it to December 2. You don't want to go under anesthesia if you are sick. Mine was severe though.

Good news, the anesthesiologist was ok doing the surgery since I did not have a fever and my lungs were clear.

Good for you in taking the steps to move forward with this surgery. Â You are going to feel so much better and will love the results. Â It's one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Â Please keep us up to date on everything. Â Take a look at My Notebooks and you will find helpful lists for both pre and post op. Â You will also find the BR check in forums which are nice for making connections. Â
