2 months post op

9 weeks post op. Love my results. They have dipped into position, and gained a lil fullness. No complaints. I do feel sore where my under boob incisions are and the ends of my incisions under my arms but only in the morning after sleeping on my side and stomach. When my underboob incisions are dry they feel tight and tend to itch so I keep them moisturized with vitamin E oil for elasticity and to improve the scar appearance. Did I buy this top? Yes? Lol. Will I wear it out? Yes, I already did, under a cute fitted blazer to a sexy night event. Anyway. M looking to invest in a product that will greatly improve my scar appearance. The scars on my breasts are barley visible, it’s the side and underboob scars that look like I’m gonna have to put some work in, along with time. I know it takes time. I’m not gonna post again until my next follow up in August. So glad I moved forward with doing this, and I’m glad I researched the way I did, and so glad I chose a good surgeon, and I thank God for being there for me throughout this process. I am happy. I haven’t had any back neck or shoulder pain at all. So thankful that my insurance covered it.

2 months post Breast Reduction Scars

Procedure took place on May 4th. I am now in my 9th week post op. My scars healed well with no complications, but I’m not sure if they are continuing to heal well. My scars around my nipple, and the vertical scar from my nipple to the under boods are damn near barley visable, I have absolutely no complaints, especially because I’m only 9 weeks, so he more treatment and time they will eventually disappear. I don’t know bout those other scars though. They look like they stretched. My boobs ave gotten a tiny bit bigger and have also dropped some. I’ve got no issues with that, he lil hang time and fullness makes them look very natural and I love it, but I believe the drop and growth caused the scars to stretch and raise a little. Anyone else have this issue? What are you using? I started using a lemon toning/cleansing soap to lighten them in color, and I started using straight vitamin oil that I purchased out of Walmart in the vitamin section. I came across it because my surgeons nurse recommended I use the vitamin oil straight from vitamin E capsules, but when I saw the oil in the bottle I figured less mess and work. I just stated using this about a week now. Prior to that I was using Neosporin at night and one application of Mederma during the day per the instructions(See pictures). I have to put some sort of oil, or greasy substance on my Under bood and side scars daily or they will feel tight and itchy. I really want to invest in whatever will fade these scars away. I know it takes time but, I also don’t want to waste time treating them with something not affective while in the early stages. Any suggestions??

Getting ready to go to my 2nd post op appointment

Hey guys, providing an update. I’m getting ready for my 2week post op visit. My surgeons office is closed on Fridays so my appointment was scheduled today (13 days post op) instead of 14. Anyway, I shower daily now. I’m still very cautious because again my nipple sensitivity is on 10, so I’m scared to let the water hit my boobs directly. I bath my entire upper body with antibacterial soap, and just let the water hit my back and solders so it will Run down my chest and rinse off the soap. I make sure I pat my incisions. Dry when I get out and apply Neosporin. I’ve read some reviews on here that people are using Aquaphor instead because their PS frowns upon the use of Neosporin unless infection is present, but my PS’s RN told me to use NEOsporin all this week at my last visit, so I’ll ask about the Aquaphor today. I’m also going to ask my size, what to do about the one bood that looks more square at the bottom, recommendations on scar therapy, and what I can do to turn the nipple sensitivity down a notch. I also want to know why 100 plus grams extra were removed from each breast. My insurance required 800 but when I read my operative report 930 was removed from one and over 950 from the other. I think that’s a lot over the requirement. Gotta go.
