Lost the Weight. Need to Remove Excess Skin. Castle Hill, AU

Feeling great today, although I tend to get the sleepier mid-morning (anaesthetic/old age?????). Only one drain remaining on my right side, which doesn't want to stop draining. Currently at 38 mls volume (honey colour serum). Experience a burning sensation here during the day, which nurse says could be due to the hose being located above my hip bone. I also have a bit of wound separation in my groin on the left side, which leeks a tiny bit and is a bit sore. Will need to discuss this my surgeon at our next meeting on Tuesday. Otherwise I'm very happy with the results. Will need to work on toning up my thighs later when I'm allowed to lift weights????. I'm still on antibiotics to reduce the chance of infection. I've finished my Endone script so will monitor my pain level during the day. I don't have a problem moving around, touching my toes or climbing stairs, but still need to check that I don't overdue moving around. Need to lay down and rest as often as I can.

Lost about 40kg after gastric sleeve. Had to get rid of excess skin via Bodylift and Bilateral Medial Thigh Lift. Remarkably well the day after operation. Up on my feet next day, though it takes about a week to feel 'normal' again. Takes about six weeks to recover well and you have to wear a support garment around your waist for 6 weeks, and compression stockings for first two weeks of the thigh lift. Staff are very patient, supportive and quick to respond.
