I have been working out regularly all my life and after kid #1 I snapped back pretty quickly. After #2, I got my weight down but there was extra fluff around my middle I wasn't happy with. I still slogged away at working out and did two cleanses to lean out as much as I could but there were still these little pockets of fat I wanted to get rid of. After much research and talking to many friends I decided to give it a try and I am so happy I did. 4 months post procedure, my waist has thinned out and has a nice contour to it. Those fat pockets are either completely gone (abs & side flanks) or there's very little left (back flank).
I did the procedure on my lower abs, side flank and back flank. While the vacuum sucks in roll of fat, it's an odd feeling. Like a suction, then it gets cold. It doesn't hurt but when it's time to be removed and the blood rushes back to that area, it's not pleasant. It's like when your arm falls asleep but worse. The nurses massaged the area with arnica cream. I highly recommend getting arnica gel or cream to use at home during recovery. It's an uncomfortable dull ache but it does go away and then that area is numb for a few weeks. Not completely but it slowly comes back to feeling morning after about 6 weeks. Honestly, I wasn't sure I saw a difference until I took before and after photos at the clinic because it's so gradual.
Despite the discomfort, I highly recommend the procedure with a respected and highly reviewed doctor. I think that makes a huge difference. Placement of the vacuum makes a big difference. As well as the size of the applicator used. The fats cells melt and they are gone forever. If someone haphazardly places the applicators you'll be lumpy. No one wants that.
