I had full-term twins over 10 years ago and have finally decided to do something about the loose skin and abdominal fat that I have been hiding for over a decade. I interviewed this physician in the process of finding a surgeon to perform a full abdominoplasty for me in a few months. I have not had the procedure yet. This is simply a review of what my consultation was like with Dr. Stoeckel.

I interviewed Dr. Stoeckel for a full TT. The office staff was very nice but I waited 25 minutes for my appointment (past the appt time) despite the office not being busy (and no one apologized/acknowledged the delay). The doctor spent enough time with me but I was glad that I had been to other surgeon interviews because he mostly responded to my questions, versus leading me through the process, telling me what to expect, etc. This was fine for me but could be a negative for others who aren't as outgoing or don't know what questions to ask. While he seemed like a very nice, personable surgeon, I would worry that his "casual" personality could be an issue if I had follow-up concerns or was stressed about any aspect of my recovery. I have also seen a few patients post about complications and while these can happen with any surgeon, there have been a few too many for my comfort level. Thus, I choose a different surgeon in the end.
