Hello Ladies- I am writing to you because I had 2 major surgeries with Dr. Alex. I too, thought he was wonderful; his staff and the care there were amazing. Only problem: My results! I am about to change my review of him but am waiting to hear from him about my terrible outcome. In short, my breast lift and revision is a disaster, though at first the surgery looked great. My had a facelift and neck;lift and it dropped so bad that I looked older after about 6 months than pre-surgery. I am devastated and spent over $10, 000 for everything and now I m trying to repair the damage, talking to other surgeons.; I've sunk another several thousand into my face to get it to look even( (one side dropped lower). I have also spoken to another woman on RS who has had a bad outcome. He seemed so perfect that I cannot fathom why this outcome is so bad. Very soon I will post some photos but I do not want to show my face for reasons of privacy. You can privately email me if you are interested.
I'm sorry to hear about your results. I would love to hear more about your issues and see the before and afters if you are willing to share. I have put my surgery off because I was accepted in to an amazing nursing program. As a graduation gift to myself I plan to have my procedures done. I continue to follow Dr. Campbell and will until I make my final decision. Please keep me posted as you continue to heal.

Consult complete with Dr. Alex Campbell... Humm lots to think about
Hello y'all
Let me start off with the office staff. They responded very quickly to everyone of my emails. Very professional and well versed. I was very impressed to say the least. Laura scheduled a phone conference for Monday afternoon; Dr. Campbell called right on schedule and was pleasant. We unfortunately had a few bad connections so our call did drop a few times but I'm used to that happening since my hubby was stationed in Central America and "over there" with horrible telephone service. Our consult call lasted about 40 minutes. He covered EVERYTHING about my procedures, we even talked about my husband who has decided to have a little lipo done. I had a list of questions and he hit almost everyone of them before I asked. Dr Campbell is very nice, professional, and seems to know his stuff inside and out. I was so excited to talk with him and I felt very comfortable to say exactly what I wanted and he told me what I needed. He also did not try to up sell me on more procedures. At the end of the call he said he would get the numbers together for our quote and email it to me. Like clock work I got the quote the next day.
My quote for a TT, Lipo to the waist,and a BA was $7,620 that did not include the 10 massage therapy sessions of $250, or hotel which is $1000. So the total with everything for me is $8,870.
My husband's quote for Lipo to the chest, flank, and belly was $2,979. He will also need 10 massage therapy sessions of $250. My husbands total was $3,229, and both of us together was $12,099. That is everything except food or airfare. I was on Dr. Campbell's website and the numbers were a little different and they also included hotel. There is another post about bringing another patient and getting a discount. The price is not bad but I felt it was kind of high. A BA in the U.S. is around $3000 which is about the same price as Columbia. Lipo in the U.S. is also about $3-4000. The only price that made me think it might be worth the trip is the TT. Don't get me wrong, I understand prices and I of course don't want to go for the cheapest doctor, I want the best doctor. For me I would hate to go that far from home to pay the same prices as home. I'm going to continue my search but I'm not writing off Dr Campbell. He sounds amazing, I'm just going to keep my options open and look closer to home. Have any of you felt this way about the cost? Any other docs I should checkout (I live in central FL)?

Hey doll! Glad to see you kept us posted.
I dont know about FL cost for these type of procedures (In Canada they are so expensive I got quoted 15k CAD just for stomach lipo and BA loll I had no choice to look somewhere else) but if you're taking into condideration the quality of service deliver + the post-op care given that alone is worth the trip.
I only spent 110$ for the food which is cheaper than grocery shopping at home and trust me I have lot of appetite. Laura quoted me 746$ for hotel (11 nights) but because the COP was low there I ended up spending around 550$.
Check out Dr Constantino G. Mendieta in Miami, I dont know about his fees but I love his work!
