Tummy Tuck W/ Liposuction

Well, I had my consultation on May 9, 2013 with Dr. Fata and first let me say that yes his staff is the greatest, they are so friendly and make sure that you are very comfortable. So to tell you a little about me, I am 5"6, 32 years old with four children. Three of my own and one step-child all that i truly adore :) I have always had an athletic build with a small waist and nice round butt. After having my first child everything was still pretty much in tack, but after the second pregnancy with twins, I have not been able to lose this apron " belly " .....lol
So after years and years of vigorous exercising my husband and I have decided that the time has come for the Tummy Tuck........YES YES YES!

I was a little worried that Dr. Fata would tell me that I needed to lose more weight before getting the surgery but, he didn't. He told my husband and I that he had worked on several African American women before and he fully understood the areas in which they wanted to keep their weight....and those are all the areas that I have weight that I want to keep except my abdomen, so I was very happy about the fact that he understood my areas of concern. So it was recommended that I receive the standard Tummy Tuck, with Liposuction of the upper and lower flanks in my back area....and I should be fine. I am super excited and I am counting down the days until my pre-op appointment which is 06/27/2013. At that time my before pics will be taken and any last minute questions will be answered.

When reviewing my expected cost please understand that price includes the hospital stay, operating room fee, and anesthesia fee. The Surgeon fee itself isn't really expensive, it was way cheaper than we expected!

After reviewing alot of updates, I'm glad that I changed my date from a summer month to a winter month. I think alot of ladies are pressured to show off their new bodies when they receive the surgeries in the summer months, versus the winter months it is cold so you are more inclined to remain covered up, compression garment and all in the end producing less swelling and better results........
