One month post op!
$6,700
It's been a while since an update but I've had so much going on. My brother passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago, he was only 49. It's been a very emotional month needless to say. As far as my TT, everything is moving right along. Still have some major swelling but it's gets a little better every week. I've notice that there's a lot of swelling in my hips and upper thighs as well, I guess that's part of it. I have a friend who's a message therapist, she is going to do some lymphatic messaging on me next week- maybe that will help. My scar is healing nicely, there was no problem with any wounds opening. I also got the ok to do some light cardio but afraid of doing too much, so trying to hear from others as far when and what type of exercises. Here are few pics from this morning, I'm really starting to love my results!

Day 10 post op
Not much to update other than the swelling is getting better early in the day and my back pain is going away since I'm walking straighter as well. Not much of an appetite still, with my tummy being so tight and having swelling on top of it, it feels like I ate at a buffet even if I eat something light. I am happy that my weight is down 8 lbs sine surgery and that with the swelling and being on my period! The hubby and I are still going out to eat for New Years but that's probably about it for me. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year! Here are some pics from this morning, not much of a change but I'll take it!

Thank you, recovery is moving right along. So ready for my swelling to go down, still living in my leggings lol. How soon was it for your swelling to go down where you were able to wear jeans again? Congrats on your marriage by the way, you look great!

The swelling from surgery went in stages for a couple of weeks, the first couple of days I was excited about my shape then the swelling showed up and I felt like a sausage! Give yourself about 2-3 weeks and you'll be great. As for Swell hell it only happened a couple of times, it wasn't unbearable just stay away from salt and keep drinking your water and you'll be fine. As for jeans I think I was in them in a week, however I liked wearing my leggings because of the binder. I was very fortunate not to have any real numbing feeling on my tummy.
Happy Healing! Keep it up, you look great!

Emotional day
Well today was a very emotional low for me, I think at this point I'm just fed up with feeling tired, swollen and house bound. Eventually I walked around outside and it brought my spirits back up. I know I have a ways to go and just need to look ahead at the "finished product". So yeah, today was a big pity party- I'm over it just wanted to share. Have a good night ????

Thanks for being transparent and honest...so I can prepare for those feelings.

There are emotional ups and downs with the procedure but mostly ups, I'm just so glad I had it done during the winter because I think it would've been more emotional if it was nice outside and not be able to enjoy the weather. Is your surgery coming up soon?

Since last March I had it scheduled for this jan 16th. For several reasons I had to cancel.

I had a couple of those days as well, not being able to do for myself as I'm used to.
