Finally after reading so many reviews on this site...
$6,700
Finally after reading so many reviews on this site and doing research, I have set my official date for a full TT, muscle repair and some lipo that the doctor has included with the procedure at no cost. For the last 10-20 years I have religiously worked out and feel that I am wearing my body down trying to get the shape that I desire but like many of you out there it just seems impossible. I'm ready to be able to wear form fitting tops without feeling awkward with my rolls showing. I've already had my pre-op visit which was Friday and will be heading out this weekend for supplies. At the same time I'm super nervous about recovery and pain afterwards. Any feedback about supplies that will help with swelling and healing is welcomed. I'll add some before pics shortly - Thanks to all of you that have shared your journey, it has helped me so much towards my own journey.

I hope that you're doing okay! It's quite the experience having this surgery! I wish you an uncomplicated recovery. I had mine almost 2 years ago. It hasn't been a "cake walk" but I'm glad I did it & I'm sure you'll love your new body. It's really amazing the difference it makes. I feel so much more comfortable in my clothes. Like you I exercised for years but knew that the loose belly skin would never go back to what it was before my pregnancies. Hang in there! It gets easier. Patience is the key. Don't overdo & take care of yourself. Drinks lots of water, with lemon, if you like lemons, miralax is great for constipation, compression helps alot, and one thing I still use is Arnica gel. Realself is a great support. Best wishes!

Thanks! So far so good, I hope the days just keep getting better. Sorry you had a rough patch with yours but it seems like you're doing great now. I guess everyone has a different recovery. I feel the same as far as the surgery, I have no regrets, I would do it all over again. I'll keep my recovery posted

Welcome to the community and thank you for joining us. My best advice for swelling is to watch your sodium intake, stay away from processed foods, drink plenty of water to flush the system, rest and also do short walks to get everything moving. This is a process that takes time and it can't be rushed. No magic solution or pills to get through this one. Just time and good care.
