today was the day

$5,000

I received my twins today. I had 300cc saline implants and switched to 800cc Allergan silicone ultra high profile. Surgery was at 11:05 and out at 12:05. Awesome nurse, Vicky did excellent job on IV And I hate those. I slept on the way home, but I am so comfortable and no pain at all. He used the Keller Funnel technique to insert them. I just can't believe the no pain. It took me time to pick asurgeon and I PICKED THE BEST for me! Truly so happy and I'm not a peeler, so they will stay under wraps until I take a shower Tomm. Will pay pics at later date.

Dr Linderman performed my first BA in 2004 and Dr Eppley will be doing my 2nd. They are both from the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Upon meeting Dr Eppley I was at ease. His sense so humor was the ice breaker. He has been wonderful answering questions through email and giving me honest advice. I have to feel confident in my decisions so far. I hope everything turns out amazing, my breasts are in his hand Feb 19th. Let the countdown start. What a WONDERFUL experience. I have to say I love Dr Eppley. He is so outgoing, caring, sense of humor, and so honest. I arrived about 45 min early because of my drive and the weather. Once I got there the process started immediately with finishing paperwork, went for photis, I then changed into my gown and the RN Vicky was so nice. She gave me my IV not knowing I'm terrified of them and I have to say she was totally awesome I never even knew she had started except the small prick. Kudos to the staff. She got me comfortable and my friend got to come sit with me. Anthesis came to visit me and asked some questions and explained his process throughly and asked if I had questions. Shortly following here came Dr Eppley to check on me, mark me, and ask if I had questions. Sat there with me for a few while the room was being changed out for me. I thought this was very COOL. Upon him leaving a few min later the surgurical nurse cane and gave me a warm blanket and talked about what her part was in the procedure of placing things on me. I went back and it was her and the "sleep" Dr. We talked about the weather and I remember him telling me he was inserting the meds into my IV and I remember talking about Boston with him and nothing after that except waking up in recovery. I had NO nausea, no pain, not even the feeling of pressure that people talk about. He came to see me and said things went great and I don't have to ice them, the sutures will come off on own and I can shower Tomm, yippy! Again this was my 2nd BA so healing should be better than first and that has been a fact! I'm sooooo thrilled and can't wait to unveil them Tomm. Dr Eppley is HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended by me. You take the time to meet with and correspond with him you will see what I mean. Girls, don't let a few REVIEWS scare you. No one is perfect in everything and you always have a few in any profession not satisfied. I ABSOLUTELY love him, I even named him Mick Jäger ( yes because that's who he reminds me of) lol HUGE THANK YOU DR EPPLEY for all the time spent with me on emails and taking such good care of me Today on surgery day! I can't wait to peek at them Tomm, I have patience ;))

I am 5'0", 112lbs and currently have 10 year old 270cc overfilled to 300cc saline implants. I had an easy recovery first time around and ready to switch over to silicone. I have surgery scheduled for 2-18-15 to get get 655 high profile silicone implants. My doctor tells me I will see a big difference??? I am ready for round 2 and hope for another easy recovery.

So glad your saline implants lasted 10 years. Are you getting a revision due to any complications? Or are you just ready for a change? Hoping you'll have another smooth recovery. Feel free to join a forum of members also awaiting their February 2015 breast implant revision surgery. Keep us posted!

Never one complication! Just thinking I'll need them replaced before my lifetime is up and what better time to do it then while I'm still " young" and healthy lol I have been very satisfied with my 270 overfill to 300cc saline. I thought these were big for me. I am 5 ft and then about 100lbs. Now about 112lbs :( I seem to be like most on here and want to be bigger. My doctor did tell me that if I didn't already have implants I wouldn't have been able to go to the 655cc silicone, but since I already have a pocket and have "stretched" it would be simple and should have the same recovery. My recovery the first time was great! If you follow taking your pain meds on time the first day of two and ice them ( I actually used bags of frozen corn and peas because they were small and adjusted to my body well), get plenty of rest and follow Dr orders it's a piece of cake. I never had the tightness that I read a lot about. I had mine done on a Friday and back to work on Mon. I hope it goes as smooth this time around. I love reading people's experiences that have the 2nd one and giving info on what I have been through too.

Glad to hear you're not experiencing any current complications. Thank you so much for sharing all your helpful details! Wishing you the best with your revision!

Hi there! I have a consult with Dr. Eppley on the 17th. Why did you choose him? He will be the third doc I have met with. I'm getting, TT, BA, and lypo.
Can we see pics thxs:)
