I'm a little concerned I thought maybe it was swelling but now I'm not sure. Its been 16 days and my right breast looks totally different than my left. I've been massaging them my right hurts and is harder than my left. Next appointment with PS is March 17. Should I be worried or are they just healing differently?

I'm in the same boat. Seeing my PS this upcoming Wednesday. I want to have him look at my left breast, it's the higher tighter one. AND the underside of it is flat! It's driving me nuts and making me worry that the crease wasn't lowered enough or something.

Good luck! Let me know what he says.

It's w normal process however my ps did not have me massage until a month later and I couldn't sleep on my side only on my back for 1 whole month. Hope this helps, good luck.

Forgot to add that I had to wear the bra they gave me for a month also and no underwire until 3-6 months after surgery.

Thanks! I'm only doing a little massaging a few times a day. My PS said I didn't have to wear my surgical bra a week after surgery! Crazy I thought I had to wear it for a month but she said I could wear sports bras. I guess I gotta give it time I'm just anxious.

I feel you . I am 6 weeks post op.. I have 590 UHP with a lift ... My left is significantly larger - softer and has dropped at a very different rate . I did have lipo in my left to even them out which makes the process even more confusing . I am also left handed - more confusion ....I have received so many messages from this site of women asking me for an update and photos . I just can't post them yet . I see my surgeon tomorrow hopefully it's just swelling .

How is your recovery going? I'm going to Dr.Grasee in June for a consult and would LOVE to hear if you are now more pleased with your results! Thank you for sharing your story!!

I absolutely love her! I go back the 17 of this month so I'll let you know what she says. I'm hoping one is dropping and fluffing faster than the other.

My recovery has been fine I was cooking dinner for my family the day after surgery. My right breast is still tender and numb but other than that not a lot of pain at all

I would say they are healing differently. One will drop faster then the other. They both are not going to feel exactly the same no way. Your normal breast are always a slight difference in size. My boobs both look the same but one feels more softer then the other. They do drop at different times. Your going to have to give it sometime to heal so they can settle in. They look as if their going to turn out nice. I thought the same in my beginning stages and now its been almost a yr. n I love mines.
