Almost a month with boobs!
WORTH IT$5,900
The whole healing process has taken a little longer than I anticipated but it has been worth it. All of my clothes are fitting so much better and I'm anxious to wear regular bras and find out my true size. I originally wore a 32 B at Vicky Secrets and recently went to get measured. Idk why it seems like their measurements are always off but they measured me at a 32 B lol. Before my BA they would measure me at 34 C... I ended up trying on several bras and a 32 DD was fitting best. I still had a bit of swelling then so we will see what I end up with! Loving life with the new girls!!

I have wanted a breast augmentation ever since I...
I have wanted a breast augmentation ever since I can remember. And then came along the bombshell bras... they were life savers! ...until I put my bathing suit on or went to a workout class. That was my reality check. This year something urged me more than ever to look into breast augmentations. (I think I'm having a mid-20 crisis.) I began talking to a few friends who went through with getting BAs and they were both very informative. One told me about her experience at My Plastic Surgery Group and how happy she is with her results and her doctor. She also mentioned how they do them in a hospital setting, which made her feel more comfortable knowing if anything went wrong, there was plenty of help close-by. I liked that idea too. The doctor much closer to me does them in his office. I didn't think I'd ever actually go through with the procedure, but I decided to give them a call about a consultation (mostly just nosing around) and they told me about their sale at the time. I'm a sucker for sales! I'm always the girl searching the clearance rack. Let's be honest, who doesn't love a sale, though?!
So after I had asked them their hours and decided not book anything, I started doing some research. They had great reviews and I thought what do I have to lose? I also realized I had a 3 day weekend coming up that could maybe give me enough time to recover and go back to work like nothing happened and the surgery would be done before summer. Hello swimsuit season! I sent an email to My Plastic Surgery Group to see if I could have surgery on Friday, May, 26th and they said it was available!
I booked a consultation and the surgery before seeing the doctor. Talk about a trust fall?! The surgery wasn't totally locked in though, just a deposit to secured the date.
I went to the consultation and it went great! Dr. Aker was very caring and friendly along with the awesome and helpful staff. I proceeded with signing papers for surgery and paid the rest of my balance. I was locked in and ready to go! And in the meantime, I think I did nothing but research breast augmentations.

I am a hairstylist planning on taking 6 days off transaxillary you think that I would be good to return to work? My doctor has told me minimal down time 3-5days is this true?

I would definitely say 3-5 is a good time frame. Although I took 6 to feel good. My doctor encouraged me to do as much for myself as possible and I did but it was so difficult to use my arms at first. I had surgery on a Friday and planned to be back to work on Tuesday. I work in an office. It was Thursday before I felt good enough to go back. When it's you're arms and chest it's a bit different that just your chest. Expect to be slow moving for some time. I think driving was the biggest obstacle for me as I drive a manual. I hope it goes well and you have a good experience!! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I know it's harder to find transax info :)

I found a doctor that specializes in transax using the endoscopic camera ect.. he thinks I should get around 400cc I don't want big breast just something to fill flat chest after kids I'm 29 5"3 135lb any info would be great it is hard to find! Thanks!

I think just about every person that schedules this type of surgery has similar anxiousness. I have read tons of reviews and stories on here and many many women express that they're considering not going through with it. It's never a bad idea to know all the risks associated and hear women out on their issues post op, but if you look at the percentage of how many women are satisfied and say it was worth it, you'll notice it's very high (98% I believe). Yes, there are risks, chances are you're going to be so happy you did go through with it after you start recovering.
Just a heads up, I have wanted a BA for a very long time. I was in so much pain after surgery (I couldn't keep the hydrocodone down) that I was questioning why I would do such a thing to myself and regretting it. That's a normal feeling, but it goes away once the pain subsides and you start feeling better. The pain meds also induce these sort of thoughts.
Transax is a little tougher to heal in my opinion. I was talking with a few other girls through my recovery who had other types of incisions and were doing laundry by day two. It was tough for me to go potty on day two lol However, keep in mind, transax is the safest of the three incisions. This is bc they are using a scope instead of the naked eye and can stop bleeding quicker and more accurately. Bleeding can cause complications post op. They also use what's called a Keller funnel (think of an icing bag). Instead of placing the implant by hand and touching it and moving it around and that sort of thing, they place it in the funnel and push it through the incision. This keeps contamination to a minimum, helping prevent contracture. Plus, your scars are in your armpit!
When is your surgery?!
(I am not a doctor, I have just just gathered this knowledge through other reviews, questions answered by doctors on here, my own experience, and the information given to me by my doctor.)
