WORTH IT$9,000
I have had the curse of acne most of my life and the scars to prove it. I understand that once you lift the skin the scars look much better. To help my eyes and forehead we will round it off with DOT laser and to help smooth out scars. I am so lucky that I have watched someone get a facelift with fat transfer from this Doctor. I know his work is excellent. Very nervous about the aftermath. I am allergic to a lot of meds.. so I have to watch taking vitamins. So I will not be upping my vitamin C or using the arnica and other items that help healing:( sad about that! But going to try to do my best to what's expected. Sleeping on my back makes me super nervous. Can't do it yet:( I have done fillers and botox and stopped doing that over the last couple years. Amazingly the results from them still has lasted. My jowls are not near as bad as they once were. I just want my chin, neck, jowls and cheeks to look younger. Nervous is not the word that can describe my feelings. Thank you for any words of encouragement especially if you have went thru this. My hair is changed to a completely different color to help me look different!!

Getting ready for the big day. Less than a week away. My nerves are shot. I have 2 rounds of treatment. Face lift a week later laser. Yikes!!! I am normally a blonde... I went red to go thru this and look like I had something done to my hair.. so when people look at my cross they think wow. That color takes 10 years off. Haha! Fingers cross. Thanks to any comments. I am actually think of getting hypnotized before procedure to help with my nerves. I love holistic things and I have been hypnotized before. It works in a odd way. Will keep you posted on that. Hypnotist is suppose to call and discuss today. Happy New Year!!

1/5/2018 still at hospital after surgery
My doctor likes you to stay at hospital to get drain out. So here I am. I must say waking up from surgery was a little tough. Overall I did really well. Indiana Hypnotist (Cathy) Carmel, in I believe helped play a big roll on that. They told me how well I did. Ate well, didn't get nauseated, blood was not lots and pain was well. All the nurses kept telling me how well I was doing. Will post more pics when I am comfortable at home. Look very swollen.

Did you have a lower facelift? I want to have one but I'm scared. Anyway, if you can give me some tips before I make the call to the doctor I would appreciate it. Was there certain foods that you ate before surgery? Where is the drain? How did your face fell after surgery? Did it feel really tight or are you so numb that you don't feel anything? Besides all that, I hope your feeling better! It sounds like everything went smoothly for you::-). Take care

Thank you so much. Not sure why all these comments are just appearing. I really thought no one was reading this.
I got a lower facelift. Which is a traditional. No forehead. The reason I didn't get forehead is because some people (not everyone) come out with a weird hairline. I was afraid of that and honestly I don't mind showing some age.. I just want to look better.
I was so scared to go thru this process. I watched someone go thru this and it is so scary to watch someone and do it. But honestly it was hard the first few days. After that its all good. I took a lot of pain killers. It felt like the back of my neck was stitched together.. it was so tight. Other than that your pretty numb.. but its uncomfortable to sleep and just having it done.. is a little freaky. Also depends on where your ear stitches are. My ears was like cut off... so you can't see any incisions. So see where he puts your stitches around ears. Some surgeons make it noticeable when you put your hair back. I ate beans and mashed potates and soft food. I ate that for a few days. The drain was tiny and right next to my ear.. I was worried I would feel it. Didn't even feel it. It was the least thing to worry about. After surgery it was tight and numb. My ears probably hurt the most. Thanks so much for the support... Best of luck.. its not as bad as you think. I am still healing and it takes so long.. but its worth it!

Just had it done and experienced all you did with much less anxiety. Glad to be off the oxycodone, as that was giving me a false sense of no pain. I have a little bruising appearance around my neck, but expect that to vanish within 2 weeks of my 8/14 surgery: same as yours. Today is four days later, and I am back on my feet. Feeling some tightness where stitches are but this all could have been much worse. Living on Arnica, Tylenol and fresh pineapple. Hope you are enjoying your great results, Best wishes, SoccerMama in Virginia
