Dr Ayse changed my life

After suffering aesthetic and functional complications from previous surgery I honestly got hopeless. My eyes were uneven, scarred and left with rounded/blunted corners. My left lower lid was being pulled down by scar tissue as the previous surgery was so invasive it left mass amounts of scar tissue causing the lid to retract. In fact my left canthus was pretty much completely detached as confirmed by Dr Ayse.
For the last 2 years I've wore hats, sunglasses, anything to hide my eyes. I woke up every morning with such dry irritation and gunk in my left eye as it wasn't closing properly. I honestly gave up as I'd already had 2 surgeries and knew that the delicate tissues around the eye get worse with every surgical intervention. Looking in the mirror made me want to cry. I had sad bloodhound looking eyes and thought that I was stuck like this, that is until I came across Dr Ayse Dolar Bilge through recommendation of a friend.
My friend had been experiencing some seriously devastating complications from a previous botched eye surgery, to the point that she felt completely hopeless. However, Dr Ayse not only fixed her multiple functional complications but gave her the most beautiful aesthetic result too. I immediately booked a consult with Dr Ayse and for the first time in years I felt heard. She listened to my every concern, and gave me detailed and thorough feedback to every question I had. For once I felt like I was speaking to another human rather than a robot which was my previous experience with American Doctors. That's what sets Dr Ayse apart, her genuine and obvious compassion for her patients and other people.
During our virtual consultation, she made it clear that while she thought she could help me, she couldn't make any promises until she assessed me in person and even then nothing is guaranteed. This was a breathe of fresh air after listening to "top" American doctors tell me they can pretty much do anything and do it perfectly. If only they were as humble and talented as Dr Ayse, I wouldn't have been in the position I was in.
I traveled to Istanbul shortly after for an in person consultation where Dr Ayse thoroughly examined my eyes with microscopes and loops (none of the "top" doctors did this) and thoroughly explained in detail how she would attempt to correct my functional and aesthetic issues. I felt so safe with Dr Ayse, she doesn't try to upsell on unnecessary procedures like American doctors, and goes as far to discourage from such procedures. This is another attestation to her ethical and compassionate practice, her focus is helping people and not making money.
The surgery itself took place at Emsey Hospital which is about 30 mins from Dr Ayse's clinic. It is wonderfully modern and clean, and the hospital staff were so friendly and accommodating. I was super anxious before my surgery and Dr Ayse gave me some medication to help me relax. The surgery felt like a breeze! Previous eye surgeries had me looking like I'd been in a car crash but this was so mild and felt worlds apart from past experiences. I cried when I saw my eyes as for the first time in years I could see myself again. I am only a few days post surgery but am healing incredibly well. I only have slight bruises and minimal swelling. I will update my review as I progress and add pictures.
For anyone suffering from complications of past eye surgery or even those who just want to improve the aesthetic appearance of their eyes, I implore you to at the very least constant with Dr Ayse. Her knowledge is vast and her bedside manner is second to none. Dr Ayse's assistant Pinar is also wonderful and helped me coordinate everything I needed to. Not only that, she kept me company at the hospital as I was alone and really made me feel safe. I can't thank them enough!

Barely any swelling or bruising and I’m only 4 days post op. Absolute night and day difference to when I had surgery in California, I looked like I’d been in a car wreck! But Dr Ayse has such a gentle hand you wouldn’t know I had surgery if it weren’t for the bandages.

I’m so happy for you. I know too well the sadness that takes over your heart and soul once you’ve had eyelid surgery that did not produce favorable results. Especially when using the top surgeons that are considered to be the best which reputation claims to be in Beverly Hills. It seems even they have many unhappy patients who are devastated over their poor outcomes. Some of us pushed into aggressive unnecessary procedures just to generate more revenue for their practice. Having further surgery in Beverly Hills was the biggest mistake of my life. Your surgery gives me hope . I need to get over the fear of traveling to Turkey because her surgical skill and compassion seems incredible and far superior to the US.
