Day 10! Feeling good.

Well it's now day 10 and the pain has gone, the swelling is still present but not nearly as bad. The bruises are quite minimal too. My legs are quite numb and so are the heels of my feet but that's fine. I had a lovely long bath last night and cleaned off all the pen marks on my legs and I peeked off my plasterers to reveal the most tiny neat incisions! I doubt anyone will be able to see the scars they are so tiny. I can already see a definition between calve and ankle and in so excited! My outer thighs are looking slimmer too. Inner thighs are still quite swollen at the minute. I'm so looking forward to seeing the final results in a few months. Xx

Day 4, shower!!!

Wow!! What can I say apart from I was but expecting that this morning. I was told I was allowed to have a shower today so jumped at the chance! I peeled my garment off slowly and stood for a few minutes fine, then got pins and needles and thought I can deal with that so got In the shower! Uh oh! Just started washing and shampooing my hair when I felt really dizzy then fell against the shower door, luckily just managed to wash most of the suds from my hair before I had to get out and collapse on the bed. I think all the blood just rushed around and made me dizzy. Word to the wise, take your garment off and rest for a bit before jumping in the shower. [RS bleep]

Make way for the huge foot swelling!!

Here is a pic of my foot on day 3! Huuuuuge and gross. Xx

Provider Review

Specialist Registered Plastic Surgeon
The Chaucer Hospital , Canterbury,

My surgeon John Davison is amazing and the meetings I've had with him have been great. He really puts me at ease and answers all my questions however silly they are. Can't wait fir my surgery.
