So I've always been very conscious about my breasts since I was young and got teased in school for not having any, anyway over time and on medication for health reason and having babies I i finally got breasts however still small for my statue and height, I'm almost 5 foot 11 inches. Anyway I'm now 46 and completely fed up with buying super padded bras, whenever I travel half my luggage allowance going to bra weight! And just having to wear massive bras I bring my breasts up. After years of talking about i finally took the plunge and got breast implants. It's actually almost 6 years to date I got my TT! So here goes! Updated on 24 Nov 2023: After having spent the night in hospital it was time to go one but not before the big reveal. When the nurse opened the bandage I was shocked by the size of them! My reaction was wow they are huge!!! I was actually scared and had to remind myself that this is not the final result! They will reduce in size! I hear it’s best to have that reaction than the one of oh no I wish I had one bigger! I certainly went big but out for me 500 cc. The nurse assisting the main nurse was in her first day of working at the hospital and she just kept saying wow they are beautiful! My surgeon has given me strict instructions to make sure I rest and stop when I get home! Once gain husband and daughters will be caring for me! Bug this time round not as intense as when I had my TT Updated on 24 Nov 2023: I’m struggling to upload photos and figuring it out as I go along I was in shock when I saw my side profile today then had to remind myself I will heal I had more lipo done to lower Back and abdomen. Updated on 25 Nov 2023: Well what can I say! Dr Davison is just Amazing!!! I think my husband loves him more than I do lol all because he sees how happy I am with all Dr Davison has done for me! My confidence was completely knocked after I had my girls, as they were born so close in age my abdomen never stood a chance in recovering!!! The walls were completely split and you could literary put a whole fist into my stomach wall! I went to Dr Davison after seeing a number of surgeons and he made me feel so comfortable and was very clear on what my wishes were, he was able to perform my TT 6 years ago and give me be abdomen I wished to have and all along always listened to me moan about the size of my breasts however after years of wearing super padded bras it finally got to me and this year I finally decided to go ahead and have breast implants done and once again I went to Dr Davison, I am currently recovering after him performing the breast implant operation this week but would always recommend Dr Davison, even while prepping for the operation him and I were both on the same page in tens of sizing, what my body would handle and they type of implants. He is professional, knows his skill and very trustworthy. I am always singing is praises to anyone who will listen and I've asked him to please never retire!!
After years of disliking the appearance of my tummy area, two children and years gym workouts I decided it was time to do see a plastic surgeon. After research I came across Mr Davison at the chaucer and booked a consultation. At the very first meeting I new John was the surgeon, he listened to my concerns and was very friendly making me feel at ease. I booked in for my abdominalplasty with lipo, from start to finish the care from John and his team was excellent. The after care and support has been amazing Mr Davidson and his team are incredible and generally care about their patients. I am now 11 weeks post op and couldnt be happier with my results wish I had done it years ago. Thank you so much John you are the best.
Mr Davison excised 3 Basal Cell Carcinomas from my face. He was attentive, relaxed, friendly and thoroughly professional. Never felt rushed. Incisions healed well and unobtrusive, testament to his skill.
John Davison is my hero! I had 24 years of hating my stomach, I'm now 9 weeks P.O after my abdominoplasty and couldn't be happier. John is a real gentleman, very easy to talk to and very honest. I can't recommend him enough, I just wish I'd done it sooner! My confidence is now restored and the whole process has been so much easier than I expected.
I travelled up from Hampshire after being referred to John by a friend who had also had upper eye lid surgery. From the initial consultation, through to surgery and post checks, I can say he was absolutey professional and excellent in every sense. His friendly and reassuring manner at our initial chat confirmed to me I had made the right choice, despite the distance. The operation under local anesthetic was carried out with John talking to me throughout , he also emailed me after the op as recognised that I was a fair distance - letting me know that he was there if I needed him. He is a real gentleman and an excellent surgeon. I am delighted with the results - my eyes are much wider and brighter and I look so much better. I can't recommend John and his team enough -Thank you
I had thought about this surgery for years and finally decided to go ahead when I knew I wasn’t having any more children. I left if totally up to my surgeon and he made the tight choice for me. I was a very small b cup prior and I said I wanted them as big as possible without looking unnatural. I have had 375cc high profile implants under the muscle. I’m very pleased with the results. Updated on 9 Oct 2018: Updated on 15 Oct 2018: Updated on 3 Mar 2019: I am delighted with the outcome. I have been measured as a size 30e. Shopping is a whole different experience now and it is so nice to be able to look at things that you need a bit of boob to be able to wear it well. I saw Mr d last month and he said that everything is fine,my scars are perfect and this is pretty much the final look. He has said I can do anything I want now but did advise for an extra high impact bra for anything strenuous. I got one from m and s and they literally don't move. I have been back in the gym lifting weights and do get some odd feelings. Mr d said to just go with it. Similarly I took my kids swimming yesterday for the first time and breaststroke felt weird and I was a bit tight afterwards but that it all to be expected. Having this operation has really changed things, I don't realise how unconfident i was in that department until now. I am so happy with the result and it was certainly money well spent.
After attending numerous consultations with a number of surgeons i knew Dr Davison was who i wanted to have do my surgery after my first consultation. He is amazingly professional im so pleased with my surgery and the team at the chaucer hospital was fantastic. I cant recommend him enough the whole experience was fantastic and im so thankful!
I can honestly say that I have had an amazing experience. DR Davison is amazing from start to finish. He is upfront, takes time to listen and discusses everything to you in great detail. My husband and myself felt extremely comfortable from the start. I had my consultation 10th March and had my surgery 11th May. (It was that quick). My results are amazing already and I have minimal scars. Very neat and healing beautifully. Dr Davisons staff are also so lovely and really looked after me. I cannot rate Dr Davison and his team enough. I'm finally feeling confident with my new breasts after years of hating them and always coveting up and wearing baggy dark tops. Thank you so Much, you have made a huge difference to me and I honestly cannot thank you enough. Nikki.
John was wonderful from start to finish . Very calm , knowledgable and professional.Answered every question , explained details and ensured I felt comfortable post op. Looked after well at the Chaucer hospital

Hello. You do have a heavy low brow position like men often do. Open brow lifts are not performed very often - because of the scarring. Easy answer! You have sufficient upper eyelid skin to have an upper blepharoplasty and it will produce a nice improvement. Obviously it will not change your brow position. You'd probably be happy with that. You may always wish that more could be taken - particularly on the outer area, but further skin removal will just pull your eyebrow down.
Hi. You would be great for an Upper blepharoplasty. Nice procedure and would work well for you. You have a high forehead- so a browlift would not generally be good for you anyway. Good luck.
Hi - Were these polyurethane coated implants? You cannot judge them at this early stage. They will always be much better as time passes. I use many of the polyurethane coated implants - and I think they take over a year to become soft and at their best. Normal silicone implants can settle much quicker.
Hi Kathy. Over the first 10 years or so after surgery- Polyurethane coated implants seem to have a 20X lower rate of capsular contracture. I started using them around four years ago- in patients with a history of contracture problems. I have now been using them on all patients for the past 3 years and have been really pleased with them. These are like normal implants inside (a silicone bag filled with cohesive silicone gel) but have a layer foam on the outside. I have, as yet, not had any patient develop capsular contracture again after replacing normal silicone implants with the polyurethane implants - and that is impressive. There are of course other technical steps one can take to reduce capsular contracture risks - but none come anywhere near the benefit of changing to polyurethane implants.
Hi Firstly, I always tell me patients not to worry about size or shape or asymmetry early after surgery. You get yourself all stressed and worried, when, in the end, things generally work out right. Truth is, there is actually very little swelling after a breast augmentation. Yes, they may seem full and big and high and tight. They will settle and soften and change very much in the 6 weeks after surgery. In my experience, if you have had sensible and clear discussions with your surgeon before the operation, it is very unusual for you to end up feeling they are too big.
