I've always been unhappy with my breasts which have never been pert, always droopy and the right a whole cup size bigger than the left. I had a lift on the left and a reduction and lift on the right, with no implants as I was already a 34DD. I am 12 days post-surgery and extremely happy with the result so far.

Recovery so far (26 days) and an unforeseen problem
JenieJJuly 24, 2017
Unfortunately 2 weeks post op I unexpectedly developed a severe reaction to the micropore tape and within another week my entire breasts were covered in a nasty rash and unbearably itchy. I had to dispense with the tape and my support bras and let the air get to them as much as possible and wear simple cotton crop tops during the day and nothing at night. My surgeon and his nurse practitioner were brilliant and after initial treatment of antihistamines and steroid cream was unsuccessful referred me straightaway to a dermatologist who diagnosed allergic contact eczema to the tape. He prescribed much stronger treatment and I'm pleased to say the itching has gone and the rash is subsiding. The good news is that this has not affected my healing and my scars are settling and my breasts are gradually becoming softer, and the squareness of my right breasts I gradually resolving. So despite the unexpected allergy which I will from now on have to be aware of, my recovery is going very well and I am delighted with the results so far. You can still see some rash in these pictures but it's much better than it was, and the scars are settling down nicely.

I've had heart surgery so to me, the fine line of your raised scars are perfectly fine. But I'm sure they will flatten much much more.
As for the shape, they look fine to me in pictures and once they drop, it'll look awesome. I'm worried about the square look because my underarm/delta area is fatty and muscled. I don't want the under scar to pucker towards the ends into the armpits. I've seen that on some. But even then it won't be the end of the world as the freedom of no heavy duty underwire would be amazing. I have 34DDD/36DD.
The nipples look pretty darn good too. Mine are large so I want a nipple reduction with lift, no implants.

Thanks that's very encouraging to hear. Good luck and keep in touch. Do you have a date in mind for your surgery?

Oh goodness, I hope all is ok. I am amazed at how well mine have recovered now so I'm sure you'll be fine. I had visions of my breasts rotting away with necrosis but they were fine in the end. A good immune support daily multivitamin and high protein diet have made a lot of difference to me too. Might be worth looking into?
