WORTH IT$2,100
About me: 20. Latina. Female.
Why: my hooded eyelids made me look older though I'm so young and didn't make makeup look nice. My cheeks I felt had begun to sag due to their puffyness. The gravity made my face look weird when I laid down. I'm naturally a very skinny girl my puffy face just looked weird. I didn't like them. I couldn't contour my face properly.
Cost:
$2100. This included the surgery, medication, pick up and drop off to and from the airport, and the hotel (including after surgery)
How it was scheduled:
I found Dr. Carmonas website and email them about wanting a consultation. The same day his assistant emailed me asking for pictures to do a proper consultation. The assistant was very attentive and answered my questions quickly and properly. Usually within a day.
A $300 PayPal deposit is necessary to be scheduled.
Surgery:
The office didn't look like the fanciest thing ever but looked better than most buildings in Mexico. The doctor took a good look at me, asked me what I wanted, and explain what he can safely remove and what he cannot. 45 minutes after paying and reviewing my health history and changing into office garments I was escorted to the surgery room. The doctor kept having me close and open my eyes and felt around my cheeks and eyes both laying down and sitting.
I was injected with local anesthesia around my eyes first. It HURT. i suppose I am sensitive to pain. I felt movement and whatnot and after hearing scissors snip I realized they had started on the surgery. It felt like a lot of pulling. Some parts were painful and the doctor put more anesthetic. I heard a buzzing noise and what felt like cold water being hosed at my eyes aggressively and smelled something weird. Turned out to be a tool that was cauterizing (burning) me. That was pretty painful. Doctor kept asking me to open my eyes which was difficult from the surgery and the light in my face. I teared up a lot. The doctor showed me how it looked after. I was happy. He went on to my cheeks. The injections hurt there as well. The cut didn't hurt but pulling out the fat HURT. Again he had to keep adding more anesthetic. Felt just like you think it would...strings of the inside of your mouth being pulled and torn off. The cauterizing didn't hurt as much but was not pleasant.
Right after surgery: I had a bandage put on over my eyes and had to lay down for about an hour. It was boring I was anxious to leave or at least see. I had two thick pieces of gauze in my mouth.
Once the bandage was removed I saw my face and my eyes weren't that bad but my left cheek had swollen up to a golf ball! I looked crazy lol. Didn't feel much pain only discomfort.
Pros- the hotel they put me in was walking to distance to the mall where I exchanged dollars to pesos(like 3 minutes. I was in Idis hotel) and the hotel was in the same building as a supermarket and pharmacy.
The doctor was very attentive listened to me and answered my questions. Wasn't rude or condescending at any time.
Im already happy with how the bleph came out ! I finally have eyelids!
The assistants were nice and always answered me in my time of need.
Cons:
Surgery was painful. (Doctor needed me to be awake to open and close my eyes so it was necessary in order to get a good job)
The assistant was late by about forty minutes to pick me up but looking at the traffic here I can't blame her too much.
Hotel room was kind of humid to stay unless you had it freezing.
I will be updating how it looks once swelling subsides
P.S i don't have a proper before picture of my cheeks! Sorry! Just imagine a full face with no chiseled cheekbones showing

Omg I am so sorry you went through this. I had this done and was not awake at all. To me, any cosmetic procedure needs to be as painless as possible. You are so Brave. I hope all works out well for you. I would suggest a different surgeon for any future procedures. He probably wasn't licensed for Anesthesia or didn't have someone available.
I have had procedures done in Mexicali and I ALWAYS get knocked out. I'm out...no pain, anxiety etc... I paid 600.00 USD for my dental and for my re-do on my breasts. You are young and I am sure your results will be great! Just be careful with some doctors. Price should NEVER be the final decision. Personally, I would never ever have this doctor work on me. Wow, you are so strong. I would have ran out of the room.....

Is your left cheek still swollen? I'm going to Dr. Carmona for some procedures and he recommended he do the buccal fat removal but I'm pretty nervous about having that done.

youre eyes look so beautiful now i want to do the same surgery with doctor carmona. Please keep updating.
Make sure your incisions don't get any sun to prevent scarring.
I had local but ask for some nausea meds they'll give it to you.
Around the hotel I did look crazy one of the employees thought I was in a car accident.
My cheek is only somewhat swollen and my eyes are only noticeable by the stitches.
I just used my hair to cover my face and wore sunglassses or my regular glasses.
Are you getting the same doctor?
