After 3 children, my stomach was never the same. No amount of diet and exercise made it any better, and after many years of unhappiness, I finally just gave up. Until I found Dr. Carmona.
I sent an email inquiry, and Danielle answered all of my questions regarding arrangements and general curiosities about how medical tourism works. She was very patient, and exceptionally helpful. She scheduled my surgery date and made all the arrangements for my lodging.
Once I arrived in Cancún, I was met at the airport by the fabulous, irreplaceable nurse Cris. She drove me to my hotel, to all of my appointments and consultations, and made sure I was always comfortable.
At my consultation, I met Dr. Carmona. He has a kind but serious bedside manner, and was very competent. He walked me through the procedure, and marked on my body where the incisions would be, and then answered all of my questions.
The procedure went well, and I am very, very pleased with the results. Cris drove me to and from the hospital and came to my hotel room daily to check on me and administer my medication(s). She checked my incision sites, and emptied my drains, and helped me to shower. She was an absolute, heaven sent angel, and I could not have made it through without her!
Honestly, I would like to have a little bit more work done in other areas, and I know if I do I will be going back to Dr. Carmona. His work is exceptional, and the friendly professionalism of his staff make all the difference. By the time I left Cancún, I knew I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
My surgery was in March, and in July I returned to Cancún, but this time for a vacation, and I rocked my bikinis!
