I have lived with large breasts since 13 years old...
I have lived with large breasts since 13 years old and have constant back, neck and shoulder pain. I live in Canberra was looking around for good breast reduction surgeons and decided I wanted to go with either Tony Tonks or Dr. Vlad Milovic.
I made an appointment to see Tony Tonks and Tony himself was quite nice and willing to explain any questions or concerns I had, but his receptionist and nurse were extremely rude to me if I asked them questions or had inquiries. At first this did not bother me as they were not going to be doing the operation but then as I forgot to ask Tony to see pictures of his work, I called to ask if I could make a time to come in and see them and I felt like I was asking something totally wrong! When they called me back, the nurse on the phone told me not to come in and see it if I was not going to book with him. This was not even a cheap operation so I dont know why they would not want to take the time with me and try to get my business! When I told them I was comparing doctors and prices I felt like I was not allowed to do so. Dr. Tonks anaesthetist also charges enough for a 4 hour operation even though a breast reduction is a maximum of 2 hours and when I questioned this price, they were extremely rude and I have never experienced that type of rudeness from a business.
Overall, due to the extremely poor and rude staff that work for him I will definitely not go through with the operation nor recommend him to anyone I know. If you are thinking about going with him, I would strongly suggest that you see another doctor first and not waste your money on the consultation with him like I did. Although he himself is okay, I have had another consultation with Dr. Vlad and he and his team are much better. The lady's that work there are so wonderful and when I asked questions they answered with concern and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question.
I would strongly suggest that Tony looks into his staff and the way they treat people as he has lost my business and my $8000 due to his staff.
