I'm just starting on my tummy tuck journey. I've had three babies, all of them were around 10lbs/4.5kgs and that did some damage to my tummy. I hate it. It's disgusting. I really really need to get rid of it and the only way to do that is surgery.
If you look at me with clothes on you probably wouldn't even think that I'm hiding a big saggy baggy flap of stomach flesh in my pants. But I am. And its gross.
I have 2 weeks and 6 days until my first appointment with a plastic surgeon and then 4 days after that I'm seeing another surgeon. Am looking at having the procedure done in Feb, March or April 2014.
I've uploaded some pics of me clothed and unclothed. First time I've ever showed anyone (outside my immediately family) what i'm hiding everyday... Kinda feel a little sick now.

Not much to update. Just excited!! This time in two weeks I will have had my first consult with a PS. Can't stop reading/thinking/breathing/living all things tummy tuck related! Trying really hard to not bombard my hubby with my thoughts. And it has only been 6 days since my first post on here and I'm waiting for the days to pass by so I can write another post. sigh.

Thank you, a lot. xx
I know I'm not the only one but sometimes it feels like it. None of my friends seem to have this 'issue'. It's so nice to have this community who really understand what I'm feeling.

You are going to look amazing! I was the same way! I could cover it up well with clothes, but I knew what I was hiding! I got so tired of people telling me I looked good for having three kids! When I knew I had extra skin and I couldn't stand looking at myself naked! Good for you, and I hope our journeys here on this site help you along the way! I feel lucky to have found this site! It's been very insightful and a wealth of knowledge and a great place for support!

That's exactly it. They say "You look fine, no need for surgery, that's going a bit drastic isn't it?!" Well, no it isn't. You don't look in the mirror and see what I see!! You don't despise being intimate because all you can think is "Oh Man, I hope he's not looking at my gut.... oh, he touched it.... stop jiggling... oh that's feral, I need to hold it.... please just hurry up". I too feel lucky to have found this site with likeminded women who understand me!!

OMG!! This was too funny, because I so understand what you are saying - been there, done that!

Haha I feel the same way. I'm sure by the time I do it my husband will be so happy that it's done so I quit talking about it all the time.

Haha, I know! I also worry about giving my kids (daughter who's 8yrs in particular) a bad self body image. So I try to not say anything in front of her too.

...6 days to go (to consult) and counting...

Another 6 days have passed. And I have 6 days until 1st consult.... Man these days seem to be going ssoooooo ssslllloooooooooowww. New day, same story. Can't stop searching this site. I'm on it more than FB!!!
I am feeling a bit more motivated again to get back into running. Well, its more of a walk and I break out into a jog, then walk, then jog, then walk then I jog the rest of the way home. Have started walking with a friend a few days per week. Its nice. On the days we don't walk together, I do my usual track: Up the street, up the path, up the hill, around the fire trail on the hill, down the hill, down the path, down the street and home again. Did it with my daughter (8yrs) yesterday IN THE RAIN! That's how motivated I am right now. And she kept up with me pretty well too...!
I paid for my second consult and received the receipt in the mail yesterday. It was a little exciting to see the envelope with the surgeons name on it. Makes it a bit more real.
Debating whether or not to look into borrowing my parents recliner or just tough it out with my lounge and bed. Other TT'ers have said a TT is not as bad as having a C-section, some say its worse! I've have 2 C-sections so I kind of know a little bit what to expect?? Maybe...?? Sigh.
One of the gentlemen who work on my floor got stuck in the lift the other day. I've sworn to never use the lift again. So far I've stuck with it!! (Yeah ok, I'm only on the 4th floor...) But it's 103 steps... that's better than the lift!! :)
