Ok so after 10 years of wanting a breast augmentation I have finally made the decision to do it. Ive lost about 4st over time which has left me a tad deflated. I had a few consultations and finally decided to go with a company called my breast, the surgeon near to me based in huntingdon, Dr Hagen Schumacher. He was very professional and put me at ease when I first met him. I didn't meet any sales team or receptionist,my face to face contact has only been with him.
He has given me options of 330cc or 380cc hp under the muscle.i have my op next month and I'm still not sure what size to go for. I'm going for another consultation tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to choose then. I have read numerous reviews on here which have helped me so I thought I'd start before I have it done.i will post pictures of pre and post op once I've had it done as no one wants to just see a pair of deflated boobs without being able to see what they look like after.

1 month pre
Decided on size! 2nd consultation

So I went for my lastface to face consultation at the mulberry suite in hinchingbrooke hospital, I took my mum this time to let her meet my surgeon. I tried on all the sizers again without telling her what I'd chosen. She preferred the bigger ones on me which were 390cc nagor textured and going under the muscle. I tried them on with my own clothes and she feels they don't look too massive and just give me curves which is what I want as I'm very straight. They are the impleo ones so cohesive gel, imp hr-390.
Surgery in 4 weeks, super excited, not sure whether it's for that of a month off work ..yay. surgery bra got, pre op antibacterial wash got, just a few more bits and I'm all ready.
Packed a few things already for my overnight stay.

This was the sizer bra provided by the surgeon for trying the fake fillets on. I've got a couple however they're just comfy front fastening ones. I'm not sure what's best it exactly what size I'll be so might make do until after the op.

Under 3 week's to go!
MessengerrJune 26, 2018
Less than three weeks to go! Getting excited and nervous, I know I'm not going to see the final result for ages until they've settled but I suppose I'm having the same thoughts as most go through..will it go ok, what will they look like etc. To say I haven't thought about it most days would be a lie, I must look at this site every day, especially photos to try and find before pictures which resemble my chest and what they look like afterwards.im hoping the weather stays nice so at least I have something positive to look at outside the window if I feel groggy. I have 2 post op bras but don't really know what size to get so keep looking at them too, my search history must appear so strange! I've been hitting the gym hard now because I want to take the recovery seriously and figure if I do well now it may compensate for being inactive, I struggle not to work out and know I am going to be bloated, feeling like crap and unable to workout. I want to give them the best chance of healing so will literally take all the time the surgeon advises before resuming activities.
Next update will be from the hospital which is an afternoon surgery with overnight stay..eeek.

Good luck! I just had my surgery with 390cc nagor implants yesterday, round and high profile. I haven't seen what they look like yet as they're all bandaged up but I'm going in for my first check up on Tuesday where I'll see them for the first time!

I am feeling excited also a little apprehensive because it's such a massive deal for me, I mean, you don't know how they're going to turn out and obviously the anaesthetic etc are all things I'm now thinking about. It seems to have come round really fast though seeing as I booked in January!
How are you feeling afterwards?

I felt exactly the same - I was so worried about the general anaesthetic and feared the worst - not waking up. On the day, the excitement outweighed the nerves and the nurses and anaesthetist were so calm and reassuring that I didn't feel the need to worry about it anymore.
I booked mine in January too and can't believe it's now actually happened!
I'm feeling fine pain-wise, it's more of an ache in my sides and below the breasts which is intensified whenever I try to sit up to get out of bed which is definitely what I've found to be the most difficult task. I've just been keeping on top of my medications which seems to be working!
I'm so excited and also a little apprehensive to see them! I'm very bloated, my tummy is sticking out further than my boobs atm so I'm looking forward to that going down!
Overall, I'm so pleased I've finally done it and, as long as you trust your surgeon, all of your worries will be unwarranted! Let me know if you have any questions :)

Hey, how you getting on? Has the pain subsided yet and have you managed to see your new twin peaks yet?
4 days to go for me and the reality is starting to hit home now, like omg this is actually happening. Just apprehensive about the pain. I've bought some special tea in case I get too bloated. I'm just getting all my house work done and really going at the gym as I know I'm not going to be able to.
Hopefully you're feeling positive and happy X

Hey, I'm doing really well thanks! The first few days were tough in terms of ache rather than pain but from about day 4 onwards I've felt so much better. I'm excited for you! It's so natural to be feeling apprehensive but it's also a really exciting time so I hope you get to enjoy the build up too :D
I'm really happy with how mine are looking, one is still a lot higher up and swollen than the other but I know that's normal and I'm just happy to have something there that I know is going to get even better over time - I'll add some photo updates to my review if you want to check them out.
Take care and all the very best for your surgery - look forward to hearing about it!

My absolute must haves for the recovery have been the V shaped pillow, a water bottle with a straw and a hairstyle that has been easy to maintain - I pit mine in 2 plaits and they stayed put for a good few days.

Thank you, I'll definitely take the hair advice on board! I've just had a look at your post, it doesn't look like the same body, what a difference! They look good now so I Bet they'll look amazing when they're settled and the same height etc. To be honest my first opinion was , wow they're [RS bleep] huge! (Excuse the expletive), do they feel large to you? I know there's going to be a lot of swelling and they'll go down over the months. That's the same size as I've gone for, although you look tiny framed.
I'm super excited now I've seen your results...just the weekend to go...aarrgghh!

Haha I know it is such a difference! They do look a lot bigger in the photos than they feel or seem in real life. I'm finding that it's really not that noticeable at all in my normal everyday clothes, which is exactly what I wanted. I just look a little fuller on top but I don't think anyone would bat an eyelid unless I wore something a lot more revealing to accentuate them.
They probably also seem bigger in the photo because it's cropped at my waist which is small, but I have quite wide hips and carry a lot of my weight on my tummy so overall I now look much more in proportion which is great! Looking at your photos I think they'll be a great fit for you as well! X

I'm assuming you had boobs done elsewhere?
