Am thinking of leaving this site

just to clarify

I arrived in San Diego on Tuesday 28th and spend a night in a hotel then I got to the meeting point at 8 am, I was pick up by 8.50ish and I was the only one so I was a little anxious. The drive to me directly to the TJ Bariatric center where I meet a group of lovely people waiting for their surgery.
My blood work was done and I was waiting for this cardiologist to do his bit, so I asked the admin if it was possible to do my surgery on this day since I have not eating since the previous afternoon and I was giving the all clear so I became the last patient and had my surgery on the 29 evening. I was weighed in at 187lbs

2 weeks post operation

Weighed 187lbs and now weight 168. 4lbs total lost 17.6 to date

Eating wise I leave on home made soups, I have vomited 3 times due to eating too fast and I get a lot of tightness in my chest and can't eat or drink without forcing myself so my GP give me Gaviscon to help but it had the opposite effect. I throw up a lot that's it for now

all alone

The only one who knew of my surgery was my oldest daughter and she is doing her best to support me which am grateful for the thing is I have spent months encouraging and supporting others on this site and I had hoped to get some support from this site but so far none for me oh well here is words of comfort from me to myself
Congrats you survived the sleeve surgery
Made it home from Mexico without a lot of drama
It's been hard eating and drinking wise but your not in any major pain and your well
Although your blood pressure is being going up and down it well settle by the grace of God hence give him thanks

Here are someone before pics

I can't stop eating it start around noon today whilst debating what I can eat with out throwing up. My daughter was making her self some fried eggs, ham with cheese before I knew it I started eating and I was able to eat the whole thing. Then got me a packet of dried fish and I eat all of that within an hour. My ex came home with McDonald's and I took 3 pieces of chicken nuggets eat them too plus 8oz of protein shake and I feel no restrictions to my stomach, did not vomit nor did I have the discomfort. Is my sleeve broken am sure I can still eat if I want to is this normal help

What I found out about sleeve and tummy tuck

For gastric sleeve patient out there wanting a tummy tuck there is something you should know.

1: The is a greater chance that your haemoglobin level will go down during surgery because we are prone to it due to the sleeve

2: Please be prepared to take blood or do your research and arrange with your surgeon to provide for alternative because you will be asked to sign a waiver that gives the surgeon the right to administer blood

3: Regarding eating, as we can only eat small amounts of food at a time with the sleeve any it because considerably harder to eat after tt and muscle repair, am unable to eat 1 whole boild egg without considering discomfort and the egg coming back up and this is day 7 after surgery

So far I have been living on ensure powder mixing it with pineapple juice, grapes, papaya and water. Please take with you some of your favorite liquid food or anti nausea treat so you can have something to eat

Anytime I try to eat solids even a bite is enough to cause me to want to vomit and that in itself is soon painful due to the tt.
Hope this helps

Final check in

I am checking in for the last time my health is good my starting weight due to over eating when I decided on the sleeve was Starting weight193lbs
