It's been almost one month since my explant surgery.. I have NO regrets.. My chest feels so much better.. All the pressure I felt is gone.. Unfortunately I'm still having a lot of joint swelling and pain, lethargy etc.. I have an apt with a Rheumatologist in December.. That's the soonest they could get me in.. Im hopeful all that starts improving but having that pressure and weight off my chest was well worth it! I would say I'm a small D and my boobs still look pretty dang big in a slightly padded bra.. I'm really happy with my results:)

Hi just followed your story and I think your boobs look amazing.! I'm explanting soon no lift either and so l can only hope they would look as natural as yours. I'm worried mine will be so droopy and although I know I was a 34 b pre BA then went up to a 32E

sorry posted before finished. Was 32B up to 32E so I know I'll be a lot smaller but a tiny bit excited only. I still have all the fears and anxiety that all of you ladies have had pre explant. It makes me happy when nearly all of you say that I won't regret it! Wishing it was all over . Best wishes to you.

Hi! I just saw your story.... You look fantastic!!! I'm so happy for you! I'm explanting soon! I've had my saline implants for 13 yrs and also having them removed under local. Did your doctor do anything to your capsules? No drains, right? Your story and photos give me so much hope! I think you look even better without the implants! Amazing! So happy for you! Can't wait to get mine out!:) xx

You really look great!!! I have breast implant illness forsure. I been looking to get them out but because they need to remove the capsules when you believe your sick from the implants has made it unaffordable for me. One surgeon offered to remove the implants under local. I thought about doing it I'm not worried about being awake but I'm worried if I'll still be sick if I leave in the capsules. Do you think you still having the capsules could be a reason why all your symptoms haven't gone away? Hopefully all your symptoms will go away in time. I was thinking maybe I will just remove the implants now and possibly go back to remove the capsules the next year to make it more affordable. I just want mine out because of health issues so bad. I hope mine look as good as yours when they come out. You look great!!! Happy healing!!!

No regrets:) I swear, I feel 20 pounds lighter.. My back doesn't hurt nearly as bad, I am so much more comfortable just during my daily life in general. I'm very pleased over all.. If anyone out there is unhappy or uncomfortable or even sick due to their implants I would absolutely recommend getting them removed. I was so nervous and it was a hard decision but I'm so glad I went through with it, only wish I would have had the courage to do it sooner!

I am so happy for you and that you are feeling SO much better!! Pain is one of the main reasons I am having my implants removed! I have bad back problems with scoliosis and a herniated disc in my lower back. I also have constant pain in my middle back which I think is contributed to the weight of my implants. I also suffer with constant pain in my ribs just under my breasts! It is so hopeful for me to see that removing your implants has helped you with your pain! I am so looking forward to relief!! My surgery is Aug. 13th. You look amazing!! :)

Hi:) Thank you so much for your sweet complements! I can totally relate to you.. I also have scoliosis, I have degenerative disc disease as well but for sure the weight of the implants is contributing to your pain and making it worse.. The way you describe your mid back pain, is where mine was always bothering me! Also the pain you describe in your ribs.. I swear I had that too and now that the implants are out that stuffs gone! I do still have some back pain from my other issues but so much better! I'm not even kidding as he pulled the first implant out it was like instant relief! Your numb but you instantly feel this awesome relief! The pressure and weight is gone... It felt so good... I promise you, you are going to feel so so so much better!!! No regrets at all!!! I'm here for you, any questions or anything! Good luck! Your going to be thrilled:)

I sleep better, it's easier to get comfortable in general.. Anxiety is better too.. I promise you will not regret getting them out! You will feel so relieved and your boobs will bounce back and look great! Hang in there, your making the right decision!

did they also remove the capsule or left it in?

Left the capsules in.. All that was done was an incision over my original incisions, pulled the implants out and stitched me back up.. Very fast, very easy and very inexpensive:)
