Cali Colombia June 2017 BBL with Dr Fernando Ortega

So i started my journey end of March. Its been a quick turn around and decision. I was meant to go with my friend, who has had surgery before but now she cant go to do the BBL.
I'm quite scared to now go Colombia on my own. I have never had a surgery in my life! Let alone travel 18hours from home (United Kingdom) & sleep in a Recovery house with people I dont know.
I'm nervous and wanted to know how safe is Cali? Has anyone travelled on their own for surgery?
I think I will still go, but i'm 25 (no kids/husband) and it will be the boldest thing ive done yet.
Dr Ortega's assistant Lorena has been so helpful! My quote is $3745 and it includes;
***SURGERY
1. Liposculpture: Liposuction (power assisted lipo PAL - Microaire) & fat transfer to buttocks - BBL
*** SURGICAL PACKAGE COST (USD): $3,785
***COST BREAKDOWN
>SURGERY COST: $3,200 USD
It includes:
-Certified Clinic: Operation room, immediate recovery room for 3-4 hours. After that patient will go to recovery house . ????????If patient requests or needs to be hospitalized, it will have additional costs????????
- Medical fees (plastic surgeon, assistant surgeon, anestesiologist)
- Follow up appointments.
>PREOPERATIVE TESTS: $80 USD
It includes: Blood count, coagulation tests, glucose, creatinine, BUN, pregnancy test, Urine test, HIV test, Hepatitis C test, electrocardiogram, chest x-ray.
>POSTOPERATIVE PACKAGE: $505 USD
- 2 fajas (girdles)
- Ab|back board
- BBL support (It is an special pillow used to sit without pressure on the buttocks. It reduces fat absorption and fat displacement)
- Medicines to a week (analgesic anti-inflammatory, antibiotic)
- Anticoagulants to 10 days
- Anti-embolism stockings
- Surgical Insurance (USD$30,000)
- 10 sessions of lymphatic drainage (massages)
*** HYPERBARIC CHAMBER: In order to decrease the necrosis (losing sking) risk and acelerating the tissue recovery, we advise to have at least 5 sessions after surgery. USD$ 30-40 per session. Dr. Ortega will determine if it is necessary more sessions.
*** CONTROL PUMP: USD$ 200. It is optional. We advice it to get better pain control during the first 3 days after surgery.
