Hi ladies. I'm booked for bbl with inner thigh lipo with Dr. Ortega for 1/22/21. I fly in from Toronto on the 17th until the 2nd of Feb. The booking process was very quick and straight forward and so far, Ortegas team has been really accommodating. Looking for a sx sister!
Booked for 1.19.21 getting mini tt, lipo 360 with j plasma and bbl with chin lipo. Looking for a surgery sx. Overall super excited and happy with Ortega’s staff and just the overall process! Super happy with my doctor choice just hoping to find a sx sister!
Hi everyone, I’ll be having surgery July 2020 (hopefully if all goes well despite COVID, will keep you updated) I’m staying at VIP CARE recovery house through Dr Ortega. (They gave me a great deal and I figured why not saves me the trouble of finding another RH). The process was easy to book, I had a friend who did her surgery back in 2018 and that’s why I decided to go with Ortega, plus all the reviews and YouTube videos I watched. My other option was Fisher in Miami. Updated on 27 May 2020: Hello, I originally booked for July 9th 2020 but it’s been reschedule to September because Colombia as you may know already has kept their borders closed till August 31st. They are very good with sending emailed updates about their procedures And flexible with their rescheduling dates Updated on 11 Sep 2020: Hi everyone, I was scheduled for July that got pushed back to September (going based off the opening dates for the country) turns out the regulations are not clear at all and the people there don’t even understand how the traveling restrictions work. from my understanding the borders are open for Colombian citizens and humanitarian work. So to be on the safe side since international flights have been cancelled I decided to move mine to October and play it by ear. Ortega’s staff has been really accommodating Updated on 29 Sep 2020: Back again lol. So you have to fill out this migracion form online before your flight. (For those who are going and acovid test 96hrs max prior to your flight). I will be leaving tomorrow 9/30 and surgery on the 6th of October (have to isolate for a few days supposedly) will take pictures of the recovery house etc
Hi, planning to travel to Cali Columbia for Lipo & bbl with Dr. Fernando Ortega. I wanted to see if anybody will be going around the same time (June 29th) I am looking for a SX sister ! I’m staying at imisrecoveryhome ! Updated on 15 May 2020: Hey dolls ! As of now my surgery date has changed. I am scheduled for July 2nd in hopes of Colombia opening up for visitors. I received soooo much important updates and surgery prep info from Dr.Ortega. I am completely blown away by their level of professionalism and how they keep me so informed. I am so much more comfortable with my choice after receiving all the paperwork from him and all the advice/surgery prep info. They have all bases covered ! So now we wait and I will begin to take all my vitamins, Exercise, and form good eating habits. (Since quarantine I’ve been totally slacking) I hope this helps Incase you are on edge or just nervous about your journey. I will keep updating as much as I can !!
Hello, I’m looking for a SX sister for June or July (most likely). I will be staying at the VIPRecoverHome also. I’m nervous and excited about getting my BBL, Lipo 369, Chin Lipo, Arm Lipo, & Inner Thigh Lipo. I do feel my quote for surgery alone is a little higher than most but it does include a nice package with the recovery home so I’m not complaining !! I love his work & one of his dolls YouTube reviews sent me to him. I’m all booked and now it’s the Wait game due to COVID-19
I was 23 I got 360 lips, arms, inner thighs & under chin. I’m one year post op. I’m very happy with my results I have no problems. My stomach it’s flat with no bumps or no fibrosis. My butt/hips were not overly done perfect size filled in my hip dips and gave me a beautiful coke bottle shape (just like I asked). The only thing is I have a little bit of fat & loose skin on my stomach. I wish the doctor would have mentioned the option of J-Plasma as I would have gotten it done with the lipo.So I’m going to go back to do lipo with J-Plasma. Also one spot under the ass/under the hip area there’s sort of a little bulge of fat, which my friend also has (not very noticeable but will lipo that part too) but over all his team is great. Massage lady Stephanie was great. He is a great doctor was very nice, listened to me & made me feel comfortable. I would go back to this doctor for sure.
Absolutely no regrets!! I am extremely ecstatic that ai chose Dr. Ortega. I did a 360 Lipo, with J plasma, arm and chin Lipo. I am in love with my results. He is extremely skilled and attentive and his bedside manners are superb. He takes time with your consultation to ensure that he understands what you want. I also stayed at his Recovery House, VIPrecovery and I received excellent care. The nurses are knowledgeable and attentive. As an added bonus the doctor comes to house and checks on his patients. He is also double board certified, which was another reason I chose him.
Made an inquiry and got a quote for 360 Lipo and BBL. right now I am trying to research more bodies dr.Ortega has done. However, all in all I'm 100% sure lll be going to him Anyone travelling in the new year (March/April) need a sx sister xx Updated on 3 Feb 2020: Hey guys!!!! Everythings booked now it’s the waiting game I have less than 8weeks to go and I’m feeling soooo nervous some days it feels far away but then other day im like dammmmmmmn it’s actually SOON!! (Only long because I’ve been planning from last year June).. every morning I wake up with butterflies and genuine happiness and now have a regular routine of eating breakfast, Lunch, dinner and snacks. As well as taking all my vitamins a minerals And I’m not going to lie I’ve started i feel more healthier.( before my re-birth has actually started lol ) [This will be my second round as I had my first one before I had my lil baby] I’ll try to keep you dolls and informed as possible x
So I'm going for my round 2 with Dr. Ortega I got my quote :) and I want to go for a 360 lipo BBl chin lipo arm lipo and inner thigh lipo. I'm super excited I just don't have a date yet I really would like to go in august tho. Happy Thanksgiving Ladies
I wanted to come in here and say how truly thank I am for this amazing doctor. He is board certified in the United States and Colombia. I’ve done my research and I am glad I chose him as a doctor. I currently day 3 post-op. The hospital and the recovery house are truly caring, attentive and professional. I tried to go through Jazzy The Connect and The Connect Firm; however, I was very disappointed with her service. She barely helped me and made me feel like she was not taking me serious. I decided to email doctors directly myself and I truly am happy I chose Dr. Fernando Ortega. He is extremely professional, very calming throughout the process. Ladies, do your research. Also you do not have to book with a surgical coordinator because all they want is your money. Dr. Fernando Ortega speaks English as well as his personal surgical coordinator. Let me know if you want a detailed review and guide. Updated on 26 May 2019: Ladies, this is definitely a long journey and not an easy one. Sorry for the grammatical errors in my last post. I am still swollen and now going on 3 days post-op. I am so thankful for my nurses and happy that I am with my surgery sisters who are all so supportive, sweet and kind. Updated on 28 May 2019: Ladies, I really wanted to post a review because I know how difficult and frustrating it can be trying to find the right surgeon especially in another country. If you take the time to read my review, I hope this puts you at ease and have a little piece mind. My Journey: I have been longing to do this surgery since I was 13 years old, insecure about my butt, chin. && arms has always been areas I struggled losing weight in. My lowest weight at 22 was around 115 lbs. I always knew and saw myself coming to Colombia for some odd reason even when I was younger. Timing is everything because at 28, I finally made my decision and chose Dr. Fernando Ortega locates in Cali, Colombia. Research: I’ve been doing so much research over the years and following various surgeons and browsing Instagram looking at other girls to see what my ideal shape and body would look like; however, ladies we all have different body types, muscle form && we must be realistic in our goal. You want to look like your self; however, an enhanced version of you. Some of the girls you see online have done many rounds of lipo which in my opinion is not healthy or safe. You can have a few pictures of your desired body goal; however, Dr. Fernando Ortega will consult with you and explain how he will give you the shape you are looking for. Surgical Coordinators: I spoke with Jazzy when she had her business name under Bellavita or something like that and during that time in 2015, she was helpful but clearly wanted to get paid for her services. Fast Forward to 2019, she changed her business named to Jazzy the Connect or Connect Firm. When I reached out to her, she lacked support, only emailed me 5-6 quotes and kept saying it’s up to you with who you want to pick as your surgeon. Not very helpful especially for myself, not speaking Spanish nor ever traveling to Colombia to do a BBL. Jazzy emailed me quotes; however, I would email the surgeons she recommended directly myself and got even less prices verses going through her. She wouldn’t answer my calls or messages on Whats App; yet, I would see her go on Instagram live and talk about other things. I appreciate her being very formative about bbl and health; however, I did feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously and you expect me to just pay up front $500-$1000 when your already making me feel like my questions are not answered. On top of that, I found that contacting the surgeons directly was way better and cheaper than her prices which I understand she wants to make money; however, if you not attentive to me in the beginning you are giving me the impression that all you care about is getting paid. Her service is beneficial for women who really need someone by their side and who are willing to spend the extra money to ensure safety, etc. I would have paid for her service if she was more attentive and informative towards me. I messaged her assistant who was very helpful in narrowing down my options which was between Baptista, Burbano && Ortega. Although her assistant mentioned Burbano as being a better choice, what made me choose Ortega was his credentials. He is board certified in the United States && Colombia. He has studied in Turkey for Rhinoplasty and when I messaged his surgical coordinator- Rosangela, she was very helpful, informative and I started to feel like I am making the right choice. Prior to looking for surgeons, I was hopeless, felt like giving up, frustrated, etc. Those feelings went away after speaking with Dr. Ortega and his assistants who explained quotes, prices for the recovery house and the stay in Colombia. Another Tip: Fill out the questions that the surgeons give you when getting your quote and save them along with your pictures. This cuts down the time of filling out each questionnaire. Anytime I would contact a surgeon, I would introduce myself and send the questionnaire along with pictures as usually all the surgeons ask the same questions. You do not have to do this; however, it cut down the time for me. Also check surgeons credentials, deaths, reviews, etc. Another reason why I chose Dr, Fernando Ortega was his reviews here on Real Self. You can’t always trust Instagram just because of how many followers a surgeon has. Real reviews really matter! Prices for Surgery && Recovery House: Everyone has a different body type and the quotes will vary. When it comes to this procedure expect to spend anywhere from $4,000 to $10,000 or more depending on what you want. I decided to do BBL, Chin Lipo && Rhinoplasty which is why my surgery cost more. Please do not ask me for the exact price because Dr. Fernando Ortega will give you a quote and his surgical coordinator will give you detailed prices. Payment: A deposit is required for this procedure and you can send the deposit through Western Union. The deposit is not refundable. A portion of your deposit goes towards the Recovery House && a portion goes towards your surgery. Rosangela will give you instructions and details for payments, etc. As I was choosing dates, I was also looking up flights at the same time so make sure you know you are able to take off at least a month with no restrictions and book ahead so the flight is cheaper. I recommend avoiding flights with many stops. My flight only had one stop in Medellin which totaled 5-6 hours for my flight. Preparing for Surgery && Departure to Colombia: After you pay for your deposit, you will be emailed a set of instructions on how to prepare for surgery, such as diet, what foods to eat and what foods to avoid, etc. You need to be healthy in order to do this procedure otherwise you are putting your own life at risk which isn’t worth it! If you need to diet, exercise to lose weight in order to be at a healthy BMI and hemoglobin level, please do so! You’re life is not worth risking to make quick poor decisions. I lost 30 pounds before surgery, gave up soda, sugar, unhealthy foods because even if I wasn’t going to do this procedure, I still wanted to lead a healthy lifestyle. Remember, your results will be even more fabulous if you work out and eat healthy and mentally prepare your mind and body for this procedure. Give up the weed, smoking, alcohol because you are only putting yourself at risk. Take women’s multivitamin, Vitamin C && follow the directions on the instructions before surgery which your surgical coordinator will email to you. What to Pack: You do not need fancy clothes for this procedure. All you need is a pair of comfortable flip flops, a weeks worth of oversized shirts, shorts or dresses and in terms of medications, you will receive the medications at the doctors office. Never bring street pills such as oxy or perc, because it is not advised by my doctor in America or in Colombia. Consult with your primary doctor when it comes to pain medications and pain medications for the massages. Rosangela will give you a list of additional supplies such as pads, diapers, wipes and soap. Coordinate with her with any questions of additional things you may need. Arrival to Colombia: I booked with VIP Recovery House and was informed that a driver would pick me up and a nurse would accompany me to all appointments. I never traveled alone and that really put me at ease. I arrived to the recovery house and met Rosangela who is a sweetheart along with the other nurses. I booked a junior private from with a bathroom. Different room types are available, Rosangela will give you the prices and options that are available for the times you will book. Recovery House: Extremely clean, delicious daily meals and really nice nurses. So glad I chose this Recovery House. There is a pool, movie room, your laundry is washed daily, they have the hyperbaric chambers and the massages. Very convenient. There is an app called Rappi where you can order food, pharmacy, clothes, etc. very convenient when you don’t want to travel around alone which I do not advise unless you speak Spanish and is comfortable doing so. Consultation with Dr. Ortega: I met with Dr. Ortega and was given his recommendation as well as what I wanted ideally. I received my booty pillow along with the medications. Waiting for Surgery: When you arrive to Colombia you are not allowed to have surgery the same day. You must wait 3 days. You will get an examination from your personal doctor a month prior to your procedure and when you arrive to Colombia, you will receive the same tests to make sure your healthy to proceed with this procedure. The doctors offices are very clean as well. Colombia truly is a beautiful country. I also met with the anesthesiologist who offered the “Pain Pump,” which is essentially is an epidural. It cost around $180 which I highly recommend. Day of Surgery: As I was getting marked up, I was feeling extremely dizzy as if I wanted to pass out. Dr. Ortega was very sweet and calmed me down and fanned me before going on the table. I sat on the table and the anesthesiologist inserted the needle in my hand and I was out. Woke up hours later in the hospital recovery room and was just super grateful and thankful to god for being alive. I will update my review and upload pics of the recovery house. I hope this is all helpful ladies. Updated on 28 May 2019: Here is the before and after pictures- RAW I didn’t want to share but ladies this man is underrated and is amazing at what he does. I always had a hour glass however I did gain weight but wow I’m in shock myself. Updated on 28 May 2019: Ladies, this isn’t easy, especially the post opp massages- THEY HURT! I breathe in and out and suck it up. It’s essential in your recovery process. There’s days I can’t sleep but I’m praying and thanking God everyday for this strength he gives me to heal. Updated on 28 May 2019: Ladies, I stayed in VIP Recovery House and my coordinator name is Rosangela. This Recovery House works directly with Dr. Ortega. The Recovery House is clean, well kept and has excellent food. The nurses are very attentive and make sure you take your medications, check your heart and stress levels etc. Updated on 29 May 2019: Today I had my 4th massage, it’s so painful and uncomfortable but it’s the only way to drain the fat. I always get dizzy after I do movement or go up and down the stairs. I move really slow but my heart races. I almost passed out after I used the bathroom. Thank god for the nurses here. They are really taking care of me and watching over me. I’m a little scared right now I feel like passing out. I hope that I get better over time. Updated on 29 May 2019: Thank god my doctor came to see how I am feeling. A lot of fat was removed so I may need more iron, or okey hemo is very low. I am happy that at he cares and the nurses here truly care for my well being Updated on 31 May 2019: Wanted to let everyone know I’m feeling way better and healing and feeling more and more like my normal self again. Honestly, if it wasn’t for this recovery house and nurses, Idk how i would make it. They really care about me and the girls here and we all bond like family. No cattiness or hate. We all came here for our own reasons and are there for each other. Such a women empowering feeling. My energy is coming back. The massages are so painful since I did J Plasma on my arms and stomach. Gotta take the pain because ladies, let’s say you don’t get your massages, you will not heal properly, you will have lumps and bumps which isn’t pretty plus u risk getting fibrosis which is even worse and not appealing. For this type of procedure, I truly believe you have to have your mind mentally prepared along with your body physically prepared. You also have to understand that you get what you pay for. Choosing to go to a cheap surgeon or someone who has many prior deaths is only putting yourself at risk. Updated on 31 May 2019: This is my opinion so don’t please don’t come for me. I am glad I did not choose the Dominican Republic for my surgery. Yes, DR gives you a vixen look because they don’t have limits! Nor do they use protocol! I’ve heard some women arriving and being operated on the same day! Duran, Medina, Cabral— all have many deaths under their name. Surgery houses are flocked with women cus it’s so cheap for bbl and recovery houses. In Colombia, there is protocol! They follow their guidelines carefully and if they don’t feel you are healthy to be operated on they clearly won’t. My doctor made sure I was healthy and ready for this because I am telling you, this procedure will take the best out of you mentality and emotionally. When it comes to the United States, I see many unhappy people who paid over $20,000 to either look the same or not have the desired result. Colombia specializes in this procedure and yes it may be cheaper but spending $11-12k isn’t cheap and you are in good hands with a doctor who isn’t passionate about what he does and has an amazing staff of nurses who will take care of you along your recovery process. I’m not saying every doctor in colombia is safe either but from ny experience being an American that chose this doctor, I am thankful. Updated on 31 May 2019: Here’s a quick pic to show the progress. I have bruising still but I am so loving the flatness of the stomach area. The massages really hurt but honestly I rather have the best results for what I paid for. Updated on 3 Jun 2019: I’m feeling sooo much better! Thankful for my nurses and the food they serve me. I do still feel pain and have bruises on my body. Ladies if you see your butt isn’t big big after the procedure please don’t fret. It takes 6-8 months to see the final results of your bbl. I see a change in my butt, not drastically, I rather natural then fake round bubble butt look. Updated on 5 Jun 2019: Ladies, the arms hurt the most OMG.. that shit is super painful. But beauty is pain right ? Here’s a few pics 11 days post opp. I’m loving my body day by day. My doctor did such an amazing job. The arm lipo has to be the worse freakin pain ever. The massages I really don’t enjoy but it’s working and I do see the difference. Updated on 10 Jun 2019: I am so grateful and thankful for this amazing experience. Dr. Ortega is absolutely amazing, caring, attentive, handsome lol && just simply a genuine soul. I love this man ! I am loving my results. I’m going to miss Colombia so much. I am so thankful for the nurses at VIP Recovery. Made me feel like family and so much love. A true memorable experience. Here are some pics and book with VIP Recovery! Updated on 6 Jul 2019: I just wanted to update everyone and let everyone know that this is not an easy process. Especially wearing your Faja And living in it practically 24/7. You still have to eat healthy you still have to do massages and you still have to take care of yourself after this procedure. In regards to how much I paid everybody is going to be different so my price will be different from your price depending on your height weight what needs to be done etc. and if you want to make sure that you have the best results I would highly recommend losing weight taking your vitamins and being financially prepared for this procedure. Just because it’s in a different country does not necessarily make it the cheapest option and don’t opt to go to a place that charges you the cheapest price just to get something done. It is your body and you only have one body and one life to live so act and think accordingly. Updated on 25 Jul 2019: I’m happy with my results. I would have wanted a bigger butt lol but who doesn’t?? I’m happy that my doctor kept me safe and the nurses kept me healthy and taken care of. My butt us diff big but did get smaller as my waist got smaller. I stlll would go back to Ortega cause he’s professional and a great doctor. Updated on 10 Aug 2019: I will forever be grateful that I went to this man. I’m loving my body and at this point I need to go to the gym and tone up. It is not advisable to gain a lot of weight or eat anything you want after the third month in my opinion. I do drink sometimes but I’m really trying to refrain from that as that causes inflammation. I am now on the third hook of my smallest faja that I got from Colombia. What I love the most is that many people think that my body is natural it does not look fake or exaggerated and that’s exactly what Ortega did. I strongly recommend him. I’m feeling better I’m feeling like myself I am trying my best to remain eating healthy sometimes I’ll have an ice cream or something Lol other than that I’m drinking nothing but water. Updated on 2 Nov 2019: Hey everyone, hope your surgery journeys and research are going well. I wanted to give a 5 month post opp update. I’ve been so busy with work so I haven’t been able to do any more massages; however in Colombia I did 20 and in USA I did 12 more so that’s a total of 32 post opp massages. I’ll be honest during the 4th month, I sometimes slept without my faja and on the weekend I don’t wear it if I’m going out. I would encourage you to wear your faja and be very consistent as much as possible. The faja will help shape you and keep your results looking better. Im still happy with my body, I also want to start working out now to enhance my results even further. When I came back from Colombia I was 148 and now I’m around 158 so that’s almost a 10lb weight gain which mainly went to my thighs, a lil on the arms and face. That is why working out and eating healthy is very important. I would may consider a round 2; however, I feel that with exercise and a healthy lifestyle that wouldn’t be necessary, my butt is big and my stomach is flatter. Just remember ladies this is a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. Also the natural look is way better than that Vixen look unless that’s the look you are going for. I’d say being healthy and working out will make YOU look better and enhance your body. Updated on 29 Jul 2020: Hi everyone, I know that a lot of you were frustrated because of the pandemic and so there has been a lot of delays in surgeries and traveling but divine timing is real so don’t lose hope just know that when the timing is right the universe and God will allow you to move forward safely. I just wanted to come here and give an update on how I’ve been after a full year and I am still very happy with my results. My butt/hips is at 44-45 inches in ratio.. my Waist is 28-29 inches. I do have some stretch marks on my arms and I still need to work out because when I came back from Colombia I was 148. I am now 154.5. Remember ladies this is a lifestyle change so you want to make sure that you’re continuously eating healthy giving up carbs because I know for me carbs makes me gain weight easily. Through this journey I’ve learned to love myself more and to love my body more and I’m not perfect I’m not Instagram perfect but I’m happy and loving myself even more because I’m taking care of my body because I love my body. So I come on here to let you all know ladies you need to learn how to love yourself and love your body and take care of your body that is the most important piece of advice I can give you and if you’re still in the process of getting your surgery continue to still be healthy and still learn to love yourself so that way when you do go on this journey and the procedure does happen you go, you So I come on here to let you all know ladies you need to learn how to love yourself and love your body and take care of your body that is the most important piece of advice I can give you and if you’re still in the process of getting your surgery continue to still be healthy and still learn to love yourself so that way when you do go on this journey and the procedure does happen you come out stronger. My advice is to wear your Faja although I’m not wearing mine I sound like a hypocrite lol but it has been way too hot. I still keep my forehead and want to get them a little bit more resized. I would like round two only to take fat outs however I do feel like if I work hard I can just work out.
