Today is 3 weeks PO and I got my final drain removed.. free, free at last.. swelling is something else and I get tired easily I just miss being active.. but still not able to really sleep which is exhausting.. hoping to try the bed again tonight and hoping I can sleep in my bed...

Me too! I'm following several people's journey and my surgery isn't until 7/17/18! LOL! I'm almost making myself anxious by check RealSelf everyday and watching/rewatching Youtube vlogs. LOL. I've also started working out with a weighted medicine ball. Lazy abd workouts while sitting in the bed.....hey, gotta start somewhere! LOL!

Having the drains out is a bit more freedom, and no pulling or tugging from them is what I like best and I was able to sleep in my bed finally.. although swelling is still a thing.. don’t do a 4hr car ride... paying the price today

yay for no drains! healing will get much easier now :) I know how you feel about sleeping. I was in my recliner for like 5 weeks! you’ll get back to your bed and sleeping good again soon girl! hang in there!

2nd post op appointment today

Getting ready to drive for the first time to head to my 2nd post op appointment.. not sure if both drains will get to come out since I have one still doing more than 25cc in 24hrs.. but I hope so.. my stomach/ mons is so hard feels like my skin is gonna bust... don’t know is this is normal? Glad I have a doctors appt!! Wish me luck!! :)

To be 5 days post opp I still can’t believe the results and have cut back on pain meds as it kept me awake for the first 3 days.. I enjoy walking around the house as better than laying in recliner.. have first post opp tomorrow, so looking forward to that..
