tired of waiting

WORTH IT$9,803
So I am almost 6 weeks post op now and I still have no feeling from my belly button down it is so frustrating. I am still very swollen and when I weighed myself this morning I am 2lbs heavier than I was the morning of my surgery.... WTH???
My belly button still looks like a piggy bank slot ( not a natural look at all) and it appears to be very much off center. I have to say at this point I am not happy with what I see for the price that I paid
for it.
I just want to see the results and not have to wait. On a side note my husband complimented me on my waist the other day, but told me that my hips were huge in the process.... grrrr
Anyone else getting this annoyed with the timely process?

I heard one woman on here who put a marble or something else round in her bb to get it to round out. Not sure if it works.
Hi Ladyvec. Almost 6 weeks post op here too. I have a little feeling from my belly button down and above my belly button there is almost a mild pain (kinda how it would feel if I worked out my core pretty hard). I am pretty sure my belly button is of center as well and I think it was last week it looked really off center - I was swollen and freaked out about it (you can read that under my review haha).

what a difference

What a difference 2 days can make. I have slept in my own bed the last 2 nights, altleast 4 pillows under my head and back and 2 under my knees... I am sleeping much better now!
Had a meeting with our accountant this morning and I was able to actually wear some dress clothes for it. I was pretty shocked that even with the swelling I was able to get my dress pants on, and while the shirt really does not good in pictures I am so very happy with my results so far.
I even ventured out to the salon today to get my hair done. Feel more human every day!

You are looking great ladyvevc! I know what you mean about starting to feel normal ...I so wanted the break from work but now I'm so happy to be back and to have as routine back.
Thanks sue! Hubby asked me today how I was feeling and I told her I was 95% routine is great till about 1 pm at which point I turn into a pumpkin and need a nap... lol
Looking fantastic ladyvec!
Awesome :)
I was happy to hear (Sorry!) that I wasn't the only one who had a bad 1st shower experience. I felt lightheaded, my ears started ringing and I just had to sit down right there! I had the shower when I was home alone and my husband was super pissed when he got home! I've fainted a few times and I'm sure he didn't want to pick me up (Im heavy :))
Hey! How come you have 9803 for tt? Is that extra fees? Cus I have Perron too and it's 9200. :)
I paid for some extra Lipo on my inner thighs.

Two weeks already

Wow hard to believe it has been 2 weeks today.
I tried sleeping in my bed last night, could not sleep on my back as it stretched my tummy way to much so I tried on my side which seemed to be working for some of my fellow February Tters... made half way through the night before I made my way back down stairs to my recliner. So I get out of the shower and make my way to my bed to see if I can get comfortable, turns out I was pretty tired cause next thing I know it 2 in the morning and mystomach is burning. I am not sure what caused the burning sensation but it has carried on into today. Not unbearable pain but discomfort to say the least. ..
aside from that it was a good day, hubby took me out for lunch and we discussed his lack of sleep last night. Apparently he did not sleep so well as he was worried about hurting me all night. When will this all end and our lives go back to normal? I only have 11days left before my recliner rental is over, will I need it for another month?
Some of the girls on here have talked about taking the stitches out of their belly button, I was not told about any stitches in my belly button. I don't think I have any to take out as I don't see my ps for another 4 weeks highly doubt they would leave stitches in there for 6 weeks, or did the nurse say something about stitches and I just missed it? Hubby was with me at my last check up and he didn't hear anything about stitches either.
My belly is still hard and numb from my bb down it is swollen all over. It appears that too is the norm.
I am very thankful for all of the new friends I have made here.

I had all dissolvable stitches even in belly button. I presume yours were too if he hasn't mentioned any.
Yes, it seems not everyone has stitches in their belly button. Maybe you have glue that will naturally come off in the shower. My big incision was glued.
So! Being 14 days post do you think you could go back to work? I only want to take 2 weeks off as I don't get paid time off. I have a hair salon in my home. I plan to hire an assistant to so most everything except cut and foiling.. And not book myself for long hours :)
I have been back to work since last Tuesday. My husband and I own an oilfield fabrication company up here and I run the office and do purchasing.
Make your days shorter for awhile for sure. I have managed to get everything done in the morning and I am home by noon, I then take a nap till about 3:30 when my boys get home from school. I have learned to come listen to my body
I went back to work at day 12 but I work a mostly desk job. I couldn't stand up for very long on my own at that point. Now at day 18 I am doing much better and would feel okay going back to a job with lots of standing.
