I am looking forward to having this procedure done. I have had a complex about my chin for years. It doesn't matter if I am at my ideal weight or a little overweight it's always been s problem. I am having surgery in just over a week. I am not sure if I am going to need help after , because my husband will been gone for work.

I just got my mini face lift and the double chin is gone too. You will probably sleep the entire day of your operation. So you should mark all your meds, and keep the pain killer by your bed side and have at least 2 bottles of water ready for you. My husband had to carry me to my bed, I was out cold, because I woke up during the procedure. So they gave me more sleeping pills. I have no recollection of being dressed, wheelchaired to the car or anything. I woke up in the middle of the night in pain, so I knew where to look. As long as you don't have to care for children, you'll be able to manage on your own. You will sleep a lot the first few days. But, you should have your girlfriends husband or a man to help you get home and in bed. Make sure your bed is ready with lots of pillows cause you'll need to sleep upright.

Oh wow thanks for the advise I do have a 4 year old. I was planning on having her with me. I guess I will have to change my plans. I had a tummy tuck in December and that was pretty bad! I didn't think this procedure would be bad at all. Hmmm what to do?!

For me the pain killer is very strong and they will make you sleep. I don't recommend driving at all until you stop the pain killer. And I have a three yr old. I'm thankful my husband can work from home if he chooses. But, if your husband can't do that. You will need someone who will commit to caring for your baby in your home until daddy comes from work. Best of luck. And you will look so good!

I'm on day 16 and I think you need someone to hang out with you for the first 3 days. Are you going under general or local? I was under general and I feel it's better to have someone hang out with you till the stuff is totally out of your system. I had an issue with a pain killer they gave me and day 2 I sure am glad I wasn't alone. Ask a friend or a relative to hang out with you during the day while your husband is away. After day 3 you'll have your wits about you again. Good luck and don't think too much about it. Soon you'll be post op-ing and soooo happy!

I think you will be thrilled with the results. It is a amazingly slenderizing procedure for those who carry weight in their necks. On this web site, you can see where after a neck lift some people look fifty pounds lighter overnight. I am betting you one of them. You results are going inspire others. You are beautiful, and it will only get better. I look forward to seeing your postings. I wish you a good recovery. (Note: I have mine in September, so if you have any questions, you can send me a personal message).

Feeling a little scared today because I am such a wimp when it comes to pain. It seems when I was younger I had a super strong threshold for pain. Not anymore!!! I will be staying at my parents place ( we are not that close) with my little girl and I just don't want to be a whiner in front them. If it was my husband on the other hand he is used to it. I sure wish he was home.

Keep busy. Go see a bunch of movies, play your music, hook up with some friends... This is the worst you will probably feel. Anticipation and your imagination will go into overdrive, if you don't find yourself enough distractions. It is going to be great! After it is over, you will likely be on a natural high for a couple of days. You are going to be very proud of yourself. Write me after!!!!

Ok sure! I am really hoping I get the results I want. So far I had a tummy tuck done December 4 and am not happy with the results yet. Doctor says he will do a revision. Been trying to keep myself as occupied as possible. Thank you for the support :)

I'm glad you are with someone. Your child will be taken care of even if you have to suffer silently. The last thing you want is someone antagonizing you while you are at their mercy. Cheer up, I'm not even 2 weeks into mini face lift, and I'm cooking up all kinds of stuff. I just made hamentashen.

Hoping all goes well. I had another consult with the PS on Monday, he has kind of told me not to have high expectations. I honestly thought that he was trying to talk me out of it. I guess all I can hope for is a better profile, I seriously hate the chin thing!!! If there are any of you that have gone before me, any last minute advice you can give me would be much appreciated.

That is strange that he said not to have good expectations. Did you ask him why he said that?

No , but we will see I will be posting pictures. 7000 just for the chin . I really hope it's worth it.

I agree-that seems a bit pricey, but not out of the realm of costs, I guess. I will look forward to seeing the before and after's. Best of luck!

With the recent development of Exilis, RF, treatment if the neck lift is not as tight as you would have liked after surgery, you still have the ability to tighten your skin and remove more fat with radio frequency, without surgery. It is very reasonably priced, too. Wishing you a wonderful recovery. I think you are going to be over the top pleased. I really do!

My double chin is looking gone. I love it. Now I'm waiting for the swelling to go down. And my ears to heal. The stitches for a face lift are behind the ears. You'll be so pleased!

I didn't get that unfortunately. He just did a Corset & Lipo. I am so happy you love your results, I hope one day soon I will be feeling that way too. :)
