I have my days when I still swell a bit when I over do it. I will take some better pictures soon

Wow, you must be pleased. There is still a lot of deep healing yet to come, but your surgeon did a fabulous job. I would bet anything, yours was not the easiest neck lift your doctor has even done. It took a lot of skill. He carefully did not overdo the lipo, which left your skin smooth. Many times you will see where a surgeon takes too much fat, too close to the surface and it leaves uneven, crepey neck. It takes about 3 months for the swelling to resolve. Thanks for the pic. Look forward to your updates.

I have 1 month until my eye lid surgery with Dr Dawes. I'm a little nervous but excited.
Hopefully I can get my neck done next year and have great results like yours!!

If it's any comfort my upper eye blepheroplasty was a doddle and painless. Bruising is always an issue of course but of everything I've had done that was the least troublesome.

Lots of swelling
Yesterday my neck puffed up like a balloon. Seriously uncomfortable but manageable. I swelled to the point my compression garment stretched. I can't wait to take this thing off, and be able to put make up on again.

Yes I very well could have been. I am better know. Really just can't wait to get the stitches out, and garment off and swelling gone :)
Can you reposition andchange the angle of the gear? Could it have been compressing lymph nodes? Did you call your doctor?
I have no idea really what was happening. It seemed to settle. I didn't call the doctor. I just figured it was normal.
Nope, not normal. With your doc's permission, I would take the gear off to see if it was a circulation issue. Within a few hours you should see significant improvement. If not call you doctor back! Assume nothing, is the safest way to go.

Hi, I am getting mine done in a month, I am in Edmonton so not far. Did you just get a incision under your neck, and if so how is the scarring? My profile looks similar to yours, so I am curious.

Hi, I am getting mine on April 28th, so excited . I am not sure what its called but lipo and then skin removal or skin pushing, something like that. I am sure similar to yours. I paid the same as you , he said I would have a incision under my chin as well, like a inch or 2.. I know the pain will be bad but I think you are happy with yours?
Yes so far I am. My insision is more like 2 inches wide. Wow coming soon congratulations I bet you are exited!!
Oh I am. Yes they said about 2 inches. Is it very noticeable ? Or makeup can cover it ?

I am doing ok thanks! Aside from swelling in my belly from a tummy tuck 4 months ago . I did some spring cleaning, not a good idea lol
