I've always had "the chins" but it's getting much worse as I get older and gravity takes the fat from my face south. I'm 5'10" and my weight has fluctuated from 155-187 lbs during adulthood. Currently, I am 184 lbs. The procedure did sting and no anesthetic was used (only ice). Immediately afterwards, there was extreme swelling but I put on a scarf and went directly out to dinner. Two days later, I flew to Vegas and make-up covered the bruising. After 9 days I was back to normal with just minor numbness and tenderness, when touched. At 21 days, I still have very minor numbness and tenderness when I massage. I can FEEL the change more than SEE it. My jaw line feels slightly more defined to the touch and there is definitely less fat under my chin when I move to look down. I'm hoping to see more changes over the next 5 weeks and will then determine if I need further treatments. My initial treatment was $1200 Canadian (about $900 US Dollars). I'm happy, but feel I still have a long way to go!

Thank you for sharing. I am 50 and just had it done and not sure I am happy with results. I now seem to have more of a turkey gobbler than I had before I went. Hoping it goes away over time, but realize it may be loose skin. Makes me kind of wish I did not have the Kybella done, as now i think the gobbler is more noticable/aging.

Kybella isn't for the 50+ crowd I'm 55 had it done and like you my skin is saggy and I could use a neck lift ugh.

I almost had this done. I'm 53. Thought it would make me have more loose skin. Thank you for posting. I wasted $1500 on ultherapy a while back and glad I didn't waste money on Kybella!

Im 54 and just had my 2nd treatment. I didnt see a difference, but when i looked at the pictures the Dr. took before 1st treatment and after there was a difference! I am hoping for even better definition after my 2nd treatment. I definitely think it is very individual and your skin thickness matters. I had no skin laxity. The downtime is not fun but I think it is worth it for me.
That's great, thank you for sharing! How long did the procedure take?
I have heard a lot of people say that the patient feels and notices the swelling more than anybody else. What do you think?
