Well, here I am almost five months after my treatment and I'm tending to think I should have gone straight to lipo. There was a small change in my stomach area, but for me, not enough for what I paid, and I'm not interested in going for one or two more treatments at $3k a shot.

I had lower abdomen lipo done several years ago and loved the instant results. My love handles seem to be getting bigger as well. (Insert sad emoji). I have a consult for lipo in two weeks and I'll see what the good doc has to say...

was the lipo you had a "True tumescent liposuction" that is an anesthesia-free and stitch free procedure ? I have been working the crap out of my abs in the gym & don't want to waste $....was wondering if your lipo was more the older style or the stitch free kind, as I'm nervous of an invasive procedure, also was your lipo more affordable in relation to the cool sculpting? I think I'd be a good candidate for CS but don't want to rule lipo out---thank you in advance

Hi ! Thanks for asking... I was under sedation but somewhat aware of what was going on, but I really couldn't feel anything. I had stitches and wore a compression garment for awhile. Swelling wasnt that bad. (Not sure the exact name of what I had). Like I said the results were instant. Now I feel it's time to do upper abs and flanks. I may start another thread on Tuesday under Lipo area of the site as that's when my consult is.

Yes, I do believe you would have been a better candidate for Lipo. CoolSculpting can only reduce 20% of Fat.

Hard to believe it has been a month since my coolsculpting treatment on upper and lower abdomen! The only residual affects are a very slight numbing of the area still. I think I'm starting to see a flatter stomach region?? Or wishful thinking? From most of the other peoples' experience, (for those who it worked for) seemed to see results around the one-month mark. So I hope I fit in with that schedule!! Posted a couple more pix.

I'd definitely say your stomach is flatter!

How about now? At about 6 weeks?

Hi! It's about 5 1/2 weeks now and I can definitely see changes. We are in Phoenix on a family vacay with LOTS of eating and drinking and normally I would feel uncomfortable in a bikini, but so much more comfortable doing that on this trip. Stomach just all around flatter and I know it's not in my head! I'll take more pix when I get home, around the 8 week mark. Hope it keeps working!

how many cycles did you get on your 1st session of coolsculpting and how much did you pay?

Feeling good, almost completely back to "normal". Still numbness in the stomach area and a bit itchy. Not noticing any change yet, but still early. Threw a couple pix in anyways just for fun. Going to hit the gym hard this week!! Back at it...

Hi and good luck! My case is very similar to yours (49 yrs, 5'6, 155 lbs) and did coolsculpting on my abs 2 weeks ago and like you, still on the fence. It is too early to judge but hoping with lighter diet, lots of water and kickboxing 4x a week I'll achieve the desired result. Fingers crossed for both me and you :). PS I also did my flanks, upper arms, bra fat and inner/back thighs this month.

Hi! Thanks for replying. So nice to hear from people who are similar in size/age! I just put a four week review on today. Thinking I am starting to feel/see a difference. Like you, I have tried to keep up the exercise/healthy eating as well. I would be interested to hear how your results are coming along, as well as your upper arm area and bra fat. Those areas are next on my "hit list". Haha....
