WORTH IT$9,500
I have gone for a consultation on Feb.9/2015 and my doctor suggested 370cc is a good size for me. I asked my doctor for a bigger size and he said next would be 435cc but it may look too big. I'm a bigger petite (if that even make sense lol) but I know I can pull off 435cc. I've asked my gf's who had their BA done and suggested to go for 435cc. I had my mind set on 370cc but I'm afraid it may be small and everyone is telling me I could pull of 435cc but also afraid it may be too big. They also said "GO BIG OR GO HOME"! PLEASE HELP, I NEED EXPERIENCED AND OPINIONS would be appreciated. I can't sleep because I'm 2 weeks away and I still have no clue.

You have given us no pictures or no idea of your size now, so your question is how much do I let others opinion effect me. I personally wanted to look natural, but not look like I didn't have breasts. I would suggest that each picture is worth a thousand words. Collect your wish list photos and ask your doctor to give you that, or tell you why it is not possible.

My doctor pointed out that what you end up with is the addition of the cc you have naturally to the cc that the implant provides. Then there is profile and under or over. Lot's to consider. Trusting your surgeon makes it a little easier. Then it is just a matter of communicating.

I showed my surgeon photos, Mine where more about shape than size. I was torn in the opposite way from you. My friends where all saying go smaller and I was secretly wanting to go larger, but also know I am athletic and didn't want to go too big. In my case I knew I would only talk to my surgeon once for 10 minutes and what we hammered out, I would live with for a long time. Because so many go big, I assumed he would be pushing me to go bigger. He did not, he listened. He looked at my photos and told his assistant to take 325 and 350 moderate profiles into the surgery. I said, let's go 375. I am big. I am 6'3" tall and currently weigh 188 lb. I had a similar amount of breast as you, a large A. As I said before, rather than focusing so much on CC, I would spend the time on finding pictures of breasts you like to show your surgeon. You are going to be beautiful whatever you decide.

Thank you very much for the pointers. I have arranged to see my doctor again this Tues, Feb 17th for re-fitting.

A friend who went big, had huge regrets as she got older, "felt like a cow" could never find dresses to fit, hat to always only get two piece outfits, plus they eventually sagged due to weight, (as we age we gain a few pounds, you think you won't, but most do) even if you don't gain weight, breast tend to get bigger for some reason. She just had them removed and a lift, $15,000. 20ish years after implants. I also had implants 25 years ago, I went from an AA cup to a C, now I'm a very full D sometimes DD, so think about what your body does with age when making your decision....when I was 30's I never dreamed I'd be 59 and trying to figure out what to do with my implants, perhaps needing replacement or removal with a lift. Costly, plus having had other health issues just hate the thought of another surgery and the risks associated with anesthesia. So think carefully about your decision.

Also, usually Dr has a pretty good idea....I actually went smaller than my Dr initially suggested, THANK-goodness!! Or I'd be COW!! Mine are saline filled and under the muscle, I have always felt like I look very natural and been happy with the C cup, that gradually grew to a D, its hard to think years down the road, but I hope you make an informed decision and wish you the best. I am not familiar with the sizing you mentioned, but just know the cup size etc.

You are the only one that counts. Talk to your PS let him know what you are looking for what your fears are. Wish pics are also a good idea so he can see what you want. Good luck.

It sounds like you are getting the Natrelle Inspira. Does your doc carry Mentor brand? You could get 400cc if you are nervous about 435... Also, you should ask your doc to talk to the Natrelle Inspira Rep as they are currently in the process of changing their line to offer new sizes and you can now get 385 (not that it will be a noticeable difference but might put your mind at ease?)

The new line no longer offers 370. It's now 365, 385, 415...maybe one of those might be better? I'm in Edmonton and my docs office is able to get the old or the new line...I just picked the 365 but am now contemplating 385...choosing the size is the hardest part!
