6 wks and 4dpo. Well I will start by saying that I am thrilled by my results. I am now walking the same distance as pre TT but not at the same speed but I am getting closer each day. I am going without my binder for at least 7hrs each day. when I put my binder back on it is almost a relief to have it on. I find that I am swollen by the end of the day. I must say a very big thank you to you all for the support and encouragement shown on here. Happy healing to you all.

Hi TTers, sorry that it has been 2 weeks since my last update. I feel great emotionally & physically, I would go and do the surgery again in a heart beat. I am walking 3 kms each day, but slowly. I feel great in the morning but by mid afternoon I need to rest with my feet up as the swell hell begins. Most of my stitches have dissolved & yes I am still wearing my binder 24/7. I have my check up with my ps tomorrow & hope to get the all clear to start walking faster & being able to do more around the house. I have heaps of questions for him. I am thrilled with my results. At times i cant believe this is my body.

I have very few clothes that fit me now (oh what a problem to have lol ) I have decided to go to some secondhand clothing stores and get a few items to wear until I go on my holiday to Vietnam in October where I will be getting new clothes made for me. Last week I bought a bikini, wow I have never bought one before & the only time that I have worn one is when I was 5 years old.
