Hi tummy tuckers, firstly let me thank you for all of the wonderful reviews that I have read on here. I check in here at least twice each day to follow all of your progress. It is due to the information & support that I have found on here that I don't feel scared by my up coming surgery.

Now to let you know a little about myself, I am 46 years old, I have 2 children (23 & 26). I have had 2 c sections and a hysterectomy, hence the reasons for my "jelly belly". I have wanted a TT for over 10 years, & now my time has come. I am lucky that 2 of my closest friends are RN s & have both worked with one of our local ps and highly recommend his work, so when it came time to look into surgery it was a no brainer as to which ps would be first on my list.Ii first phoned my ps in Sept 2012 for my first consult but could not get in till 19 Jan 2013, but my ps had to cancel this appontment because of an emergency, i was so disappointed & began to wonder if I was meant to do this. My appointment was then changed to 18 Feb, well ladies all I can say is this appointment was worth waiting for. My ps explained everything to me & is a lovely man, & made me feel at ease right away & his staff are wonderful. If i had my way I would have booked my surgery right then, but his policy is that surgery can only be booked after a second consult. The first available time was yesterday, yes ladies! I needed to wait 8 long weeks for this appointment. So needless to say at yesterdays appointment I booked my surgery to happen ASAP in 13 weeks time ( but I'm not counting) lol. I was measured up for my binders & had the dreaded before pics taken, this all seems so real now. I am having a full TT with MR but no Lipo as my Ps wont do lipo at the same time as a TT, but he doesnt feel that I will need it anyway.. My ps has told me that due to my c sections scar being so low, that I will need an inverted "T" scar, that is fine by me. Well TTuckers that is all for now only to say that I am so excited that I now have a date for my surgery.

No lipo done just the muscle repair and the loose skin gone:) It's a long recovery. If you work take off about 3 weeks if you can.

Hi all, I forgot to mention that I am 5Ft 1" and my weight is 66kg(146lb). I have lost 10kg (22lb) & I do a brisk walk of 5 kms 5 days each week. I am having a Tt for me, not anyone else, I am feed up of going to buy clothes and having to get a bigger size to go around the "jelly belly" & worse still not being able to buy a nice top because it is too be around my breasts to accommadate the aformentioned "jelly belly". I have very low self esteem & womt let my BF see me while I am standing up naked. So this has an impact on our relationship. When I first mentioned having the TT to him he wasnt onboard but once I let him know just how much my belly really impacted on me he came around. I get so depressed at times by the way I look. 8 years ago I was a size 10 ( US size 6).but I still had the huge roll. Thanks T Tuckers for letting me vent. I cant wait to be on the flatside

Your built somewhat like me in similar age and with adult children. This is the best sight around and so glad I found it! Love how encouraging everyone is and I find myself going to check on everyone updates constantly. Makes me want one tomorrow to just get it done. You're going to look great! I'm scheduled for June 7th.

No lipo, just the TT. I walk on a tcreadmill everyday for at least 30 minutes so other than my belly I'm pretty happy with my body. Just need to get rid of this belly. Soon!

You will be so happy with your inverted T. I'm so glad I had it done. I had a couple of bumps and now it's flat!

Well what a couple of days I have had. Firstly i had a phone from my ps office yesterday to say that my surgery would have to be put back to 21st August, I was not happy. I am going to Vietnam in late October & that date would only be 9 weeks before I flew out. I wanted surgery to be earlier to give my body time to heal & for most of the swelling to go, as I intend to have new clothes made for me in Vietnam. The nurse at my ps said that she would see what she could do, she called me this afternoon and asked if i would be available for surgery on 30th May & of course I said yes. 6 days!! & I cant wait. I am not nervous at all just extremely excited. 6 days & I will be on the flatside.
Well must go now I have so much to do in 6 days, healthy healing TTs

Glad your sx is moved up so soon. I'm 9 weeks now, and still in swell hell so you would not want new clothes made for you at this point out. Good luck! Can't wait to see the after pix!
