It’s been a year and three months since my procedure and I thought it was time. I should post some new pics. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to DM me. I’m more than happy to answer any of your personal questions about my journey. As an FYI, I have been lifting and working on body composition so you may notice that after the procedure, I’m more rounded in the buttocks and overall muscle development changes might be noticeable

3.5 Weeks Post-Op

It's been an interesting journey filled with highs and lows. I'm still so completely satisfied with my results. I was finally able to sit with full weight after a full 3 weeks. It proved painful so chose to lay to rest or stand to eat but gradually, I started to sit for a minute or two at a time until I was finally able to sit for the duration of a meal.

Driving at 3 weeks still felt a little uncomfortable so I chose to ride as a passenger and let my husband drive. As a passenger, I could slouch in a way that took the brunt of the weight off the incision lines. But at just 3.5 weeks (yesterday) I felt comfortable enough to drive myself.

The hardest thing to accomplish is putting on socks; the bending forward to reach my foot to put on the sock was painful. i'd bend my right knee and place my foot over the left kneecap and then struggle to get my sock on...the repeat on the other side. I'm happy to report that today I was able to finally put my socks on with no pain whatsoever. I can still feel the tightness but the pain is no longer there accomplishing this task.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I'm more than happy to answer.

You look amazing. I’m glad your recovery went so smooth. I’m scheduled for surgery in 2 months. Did you do any hyperbaric treatments to help with healing? Trying to decide if I really need them or not.

I've done hyperbaric treatments before and I just dont think it's needed. I did not do hyperbaric with this procedure and I seem to have healed just fine. if hyperbaric helps you heal by a few days faster, only you can decide if it's worth that time and money. That said, the hyperbaric chamber I used previously was not that easy to get into. no way would I attempt to climb into one and risk tearing internal stitches. but maybe you have a different chamber that is easy to slide into.

I thought the exact same thing about getting into the machine haha. Im going to Stanton also and the coordinator mentioned the hyperbaric treatments to me. Ive read others’ reviews and some say it helped tremendously and others say they did just fine. You had a recent surgery so I wanted your input :) ultimately I feel like I will be fine without it also.

Hi again. Was wondering if you'd be willing to post current pics now that you're more than a year post surgery. How do the scars look? Did you do any kind of laser or other type of treatments to lessen the scars? How long before you were able to get back to full activity such as the gym? Thank you

Sure. Thanks for asking. I'll try to get some pics up within the next week. Keep an eye out. Then you'll be able to see what the scars look like now. I have not done any treatments for the scars. To be honest, no one ever seems to complain about the scars because they're so impressed with the fullness (to be nice about what I'm saying). full activity took about 6 weeks. But I started slowly at week 2 and then started ramping up as I could.

2 Weeks Post Op

A quick glimpse of how the healing is coming along 2 weeks post procedure. I'm extremely pleased with how well it's turning out. Still can't sit with my entire body weight for another week, but it's easy to lay on my back at this point instead of being on my tummy.
