Two years ago I had fat transferred to my buttock, sure it was nice the first 6 months, but then i gradually transformed back to my original body. After failed results from a BBL, I have decided on scheduling my buttock augmentation (implants) for December with dr. Mejia .. any advice on where I can stay or what to take? I'm excited to get this journey started. Any advice / tips are very welcomed.

I have a friend who has an apartment in Medellin and she just started renting it to patients. I'm about to book with this doctor as well. Please let me know how it goes and good luck!

Good luck with your surgery! Keep us updated how the process goes for you. I was scheduled with Mejia but now his dates have changed and I already have my return flight booked so I don’t know what I’m going to do!

thank you! thank to social media, I reconnected with an old friend who now lives in Medellin she will be assisting me. but I’m still thinking about staying somewhere with care at least for the first couple nights. I’m scheduled for the 28 of February. have you gone?

HI! Sorry I have been kind of busy. I had my surgery 3 months ago. My doctor was Dr. John Orlas Blair. I can only say I’m beyond satisfied. I went from a size 8 to a 4 and he took so much care of me I cant thank him enough. And we are still in touch! I send him pictures and videos of my progress. I will write a review on him. I really felt safe and that was my first priority.

Hi. If you need transportation in Medellin let me know. The person who drive me to my appointment man and everything was great and have very affordable prices. In my case my surgery included the nurse who took care of me. How about yours?

thanks! and my friend will be driving me around :). I’m not sure the price given to me includes nurse I hope it does! I’ll ask.

you do that. Mine included the nurse for three days, plus 10 sessions of massage plus insurance. Make sure you ask all of that because I thought it was great for what I had done. I had lipo, tummy tuck and fat transfer. That was a big surgery so I guess all of that was necessary.

Well, that’s pretty much what it costs over there. I was going to get some extra sessions and they gave me that price too. But as I told you I asked for the price to have everything included because I didn’t want to worry about paying anyone. I suggest you do the same because it’s better to focus on your recovery rather than worrying about anything else after the surgery.

the price changed to 8,000 but that includes lipo and bichectomia .. yes it’s gone up

Look up medtour Colombia!! I’m staying at their recovery condo right now. Everything is included in the stay.. housekeeper 24 hour nurse, chef, driver, an English speaking person to assist you during entire process :)

I had they done by dr mejia and I am about to remove them . They look awful ! They bothering me 24/7 the recovery was great I had no issues with that but the result couldn't be worst I went to his office a friend get the same procedure .now we both regret big time that decision .

I have finally scheduled surgery for February 28. I am nervous and excited, now I just have to prepare for the big trip. Anyone have any suggestions? Who will be there those days?

After almost backing out of going through this, i scheduled once again. I got really nervous about the trip the recovery and just overall implants in my booty. But i decided it’s now or never. I am arriving to Medellin on the 5th booked my flight today, will have consultation the 6th and surgery the 7th. I am staying until the 20th. I hope that’s enough time to be okay, because flights are long and makes me nervous that I’ll be sitting for long hours. Any advice is appreciated.
