Operation Build a Butt - hoping to see more and more projection

UPDATED FROM PeachInProgress

1 month post op

WORTH IT$15,000
So it’s been 4 weeks officially. At this point of recovery I’m allowed to sit longer and resume standing upper body exercises. It felt so good to workout again! I went on a trip to LA for 2 concerts and the only discomfort was the hour flight. I get localized cramp like pain on my right butt cheek especially if Im sitting longer than 15-30 mins or on hard chairs which causes me to constant readjust and squirm chair. Walking long distances all over town and standing for several hours at concerts are no problem. Im still not seeing much drop or fluff and sometimes my but still looks super flat as if i didn’t just have a major implant procedure. Im hopeful that in the next month I will see some progress. Will no longer update weekly but focus on monthly progress.

Cc?
600
I'm a year and a half post op it will get better. I still don't regret the decision every now and then you get like a little crampy but you'll be good. You look good buy the way.
Thanks! How many cc did you get? I just got back from a Caribbean vacation and I will say that I did definitely feel like I fit my clothes better and I notice more projection. I think now that I’m clear to exercise, I can also lose some weight which will also help with results but I yes definitely don’t regret the decision. And you’re right about being crampy, mine is more of a discomfort specifically in my right butt cheek. depending on how I sit and weight bear, I can’t tolerate sitting on my right butt cheek too long, so traveling on a plane I have to sit in the aisle seat and stand up ever so often, which, of course is confusing to my friends lol
I got 420 cc and the discomfort will go away once you get use to sitting on your butt.
And yeah I love my butt especially in jeans.
Hey, hope you are well I was wondering how is your recovery going?
Definitely alot better! Had my check in with Stanton last week and no complaints. Dropping and fluffing has settled in naturally and getting better each week. Still a bit firm to touch, not sure how much more it will soften but im only 3 months out

3 weeks out

Definitely decrease in stiffness and increased mobility this week. I’m back to doing my 10,000 steps a day. I really don’t see the harm in doing upper body exercises at this point but I’m trying to be compliant and waiting until week 4 to resume. I feel like I’m gaining weight just standing around. Sitting is more tolerable but definitely hit my limit around 20 minutes. Yesterday was the first time I went to a 2 hour in person meeting and I would say about every 20 -25 minutes I had to get up and stand in the back of room for a little bit. Driving is also a bit uncomfortable but better this week. it’s still much more comfortable to stand at my work desk and lay prone in bed but I can sit on couch for a bit. There is really no pain at this point and my morning stiffness has decreased. I do get stiffness after a nice 30 min walk but tolerable. I’m looking forward to finally sleeping on my side tonight!! I’m still hoping to see more projection and fluffing. I think I was just really flat initially so it doesn’t look as dramatic as some of the other photo reviews I have seen but I can definitely see a difference. However when you’re told you have 600 ccs in each cheek, I’m expecting a little more poke out. To be continued !

PS I don’t hear it talked about a lot, but wiping for the bathroom was difficult when it came to avoiding my incisions. I have a bidet but because my sitting position is modified, I can’t really use that well. however, wet wipes are definitely the way to go! because I like to be super clean, using tissue was causing irritation to my incision which delayed the sealing of the wound. For that reason, I have not started using the bio corneum yet, but it’s looking a lot better now. I think on the tip sheet they provide they should mention to use wet wipes for the first few weeks when using the bathroom instead of regular toilet tissue..

Adding wet wipes to my packing list now, thank you!
No problem! Using a squeeze bottle of water just doesnt cut it
ORIGINAL POST

Operation Build a Butt

After two failed BBL over 10 years and losing alot of weight but gaining no glute mass the past 2 years and injuring my back trying to build them, I decided to go with butt implants with the butt king. Those some of the reviews are helpful. I did not see a lot of body type similar to mine nor did I see week to week progress so I wanted to start the favor but I’m sure will help somebody. I live in California but out of the city so my initial consult was through emails sending before pictures of myself from different angles, followed by a short, but informative phone call with Dr Stanton. It was pretty straightforward and not a lot of dialogue with at the same time, I had already made my decision that I was going to go ahead with the surgery so I didn’t have much to ask. everything went quickly from picking a surgery date to putting down a deposit and correspondence with office staff via email about questions leading up to surgery day went smoothly. The day of the surgery it was raining and of course I arrive early but didnt realize office is right off the blvd with no waiting lobby so I just stood in parking garage under carport. At 7 AM the office was still closed and I was a little worried also soaking wet standing at front door. Also starving and tempted by the pastries from coffee shop next door . Staff was running behind a little bit I guess but lights cut on and a nice woman came about 10 minutes later and greeted me warmly and got me ready for pre op.
After meeting with her and giving urine sample and completing paper work, I changed and was taken to a room where she put on relaxing music. Next the friendly anesthesiologist met with me briefly and reviewed questions. Lastly the infamous Stanton came in and we spoke briefly, took some pictures and video clips and it was off to surgery. This isn’t my first rodeo but I would say the staff was very warm and good at making you feel comfortable. I remember chatting with them while I laid on the table and the next thing I remember is waking up in recovery. I was on my belly and felt that initial soreness, but was happy that I was awake and alive. I was OK, right until I stood up from the table with the assistance of the nurse I am mediately felt nauseous and said I needed to lay back down. She was very quick to give me some more anti-nausea meds, and put a fan on me, which felt amazing and helped me to tolerate, standing upright and making my way down to the car.
I opted for the additional service of nurse Maud transporting me to my hotel, and staying with me 4 hours. Maud was pleasant. She helped me get set up in my room and just sat and chatted with me. I didn’t really need much and mostly had everything set up. The plan was for my agency caregiver to take over after Maud. She was slightly concerned and even stayed a couple minutes after her 4 hours was up but I assured her the caregiver was likely running late and that I was OK so she left.
Unfortunately, the 3rd party agency that I used did not set me up with a competent caregiver. She never showed up, said that she got lost and then started rambling about some issues going on at her apartment complex. I had DoorDash some dinner and had to get out of bed and waddle down to the lobby myself to retrieve it. Impressed with my ability. I called the agency, reported the no show caregiver and cancelled the booking. I literally took care of myself from the moment that Maud left all the way until I returned back home 8 days later.
Dr Stanton did call that night to check in but of course being tired and not knowing the phone number I’ll let it go to voicemail later on when I checked I realized it was him calling to check in. The following day a nurse called and checked in on me I told her that I was alone, but able to move around and care for myself. That was the last I spoke to office.
As far as the recovery:
Day 1-3 was probably the worst. The main sensation is feeling like you have a Charlie horse in both butt cheeks that won’t go away but the spasming is what causes the most pain that’s manage pretty well with medication and icing. Because I’m a side sleeper and I have low back disc issues sleeping on my stomach have been the worst part and I can’t wait till I hit my three week mark and can start sleeping on my side. Usually in the mornings I’m completely stiff and my back is locked up from laying prone, but after getting up and moving around it improves. I stand a lot!
Riding in Ubers I either laid on my stomach or was on my knees facing the rear of the car. For the ride to the airport home I sat and just put pressure through both wrist and hovered my butt over the seat.
The plane ride home was uncomfortable, but I survived. Fortunately, it was only an hour plane ride, and the flight was almost empty so I could stand up twist, get on my knees and move around as much as I wanted to.
I would say that the height of my pain ended after the first week, its mainly the stiffness and muscle tightness around implants going into week 2. And pain when getting in/out of bed after laying still for a while. I mainly lay on belly, stand or on my knees
Right now, I am a little over two weeks and back to work in office today. Today was the first day I drove to work which was a 25 minute ride and probably the most uncomfortable thing I could’ve done but I survived. Sitting was NOT an option so I stood or kneeled in chair as needed.
I definitely see improvement from where I was but definitely looking forward to the dropping in fluffing of these implants. I have 600 cc and it doesn’t look like it from the photos. My initial swelling after surgery was amazing but that has since calm down, and I’m sure my implants are still tightly smashed into me and riding high. So as I continue to let the weeks pass, I’m hoping to see more and more projection, I wasn’t worried about looking odd today because you really couldn’t see a booty in my pants which is good but also I definitely wanna see more protection. Booty uploading…..

I cant believe you had to take care of yourself! That recovery is brutal!
can you please explain how brutal is normal because i’m at day 5 and it seems the pain is getting worse ! i can’t stand and pain meds barely work at this point
I started to feel relief after about a week. Its not an easy procedure.
Definitely proved how tough I am to myself! I dont advise being alone BUT its doable. As well as flying home 7 days later. I actually started getting cabin fever by day four and was walking within the neighborhood around the perimeter of hotel to get stuff from the pharmacy and nearby. Target
Wow, I’m glad you made it through. I’m also scheduled at 7am for surgery with him in about a month. I have maud for 2 days. Thank you for the informative review, every detail really helps to ease my anxiety when I know what to expect.
Awesome! Excited for you! None of my friends or family know I got the procedure. Unfortunately, my postop appearances not traumatic, but this is the only place I can really talk and share the experience. I don’t know how your pain tolerance is and if you’re flying in and out but I got some extra strength, over-the-counter pain pills, which helped me stretch the Percocets I still have a bunch left. my main concern with making sure I took them the day of travel back home. Other than that, ice packs are your best friend !
Girl same, only my husband will know. I have 2 kids under 2 years old so they cannot come with or else I would not be able to recover at allll haha. Pain tolerance is fairly high, always has been. I snagged a lie flat seat for my 6 hr trip back home. I’ll be there Wednesday -Wednesday. Which hotel did you stay at? I’ll be at the holiday inn they recommended.
Oh Im a thrifter! When I realized Id be there 9 days times a nightly rate I went for the cheapest/safest accommodations I could find. Stayed at a Studio 6 in Lawndale.
i’m at day 5 and in so much pain please tell me is this normal i’m getting worried pain meds aren’t even working
That’s awesome! I’m from out of town so I wasn’t sure where to stay as I don’t know the area. I almost wish I would’ve seen this prior to me reserving my hotel :( lol. It’s alright. How are you feeling now? Have they settled a bit more?
Well it will be a week from my last post on Thursday so I'll do a post Thursday/Friday but, not noticing much change. I think I understand now why people just do months between posts. You definitely feel more mobile, can tolerate sitting more, but as far as appearance, still not dropped or fluffed in my opinion. Feels a bit softer to touch but still very firm. Doesnt feel smashed in and high but I hope it still is haha. Think my next post after this week will be a month out at 2 months then ill do a 6 month
