11th Day

WORTH IT$22,000
Every day has gotten better and better. The recovery has really not been terrible. Today (Day 11), I am almost walking completely normal (I have been very slow and cannot take big steps). I would say Day 9 is when I started to feel like myself again. I took laps around the block with my fiancé today but cannot do much else due to not being able to sit! My lipo area is still a bit sore but the implants and butt area is just tight- not painful. Some things that I have done and bought that I think really helped. 1. Gravity Chair- they want you in the “dentist chair” position if you’re on your back. Buy one of these. Game changer for relaxing.
2. BBL Wedge system off Amazon, another thing you can put on your bed to relax on your back. I just hate constantly having to be on my stomach and that made me the most miserable while I was in California. 3. Eat an anti inflammatory whole foods diet before and after surgery. I didn’t drink alcohol or eat greasy salty things before or after and don’t plan to until week 3. 4. Drink protein shakes and stop working out 2 weeks before surgery. Drink protein and collagen after. 5. I also have a red light panel that I use every day on the areas but this one is probably up for debate.
If you are traveling in from out of state beware that the flight home sucks. If you have more than 3 hours I would definitely suggest you buy a lay down seat or row for yourself.
I really feel like my recovery has been quick and not terrible. I planned to be down for 2 weeks and I really think on day 15 I’ll be able to go to dinner and drinks with my fiancé and wear a cute outfit. I’m loving my results and they are only going to get better.

ORIGINAL POST

Great Experience

I am currently on Day 2 of recovery. I received butt implants and lipo in my waist and love handles from Dr. Stanton. I was SO nervous for this surgery. I literally almost passed out twice while being prepped for surgery. Stanton, his nurse and anesthesiologist made me feel so comfortable and calmed my nerves repeatedly. I am 6’0 and 155 lbs so I was able to fit a 700cc implant. So far I am loving what I am seeing. I am bruised but I can tell it is going to look great when swelling goes down. I woke up from surgery and was able to head home and sleep. I did have a lot of nausea from the anesthesia but that has been the worst part of the whole thing. Stanton called to check on me around 10 PM and I thought that was very cool. Today (2nd day of recovery) I am on my feet and am able to get up and go to the bathroom by myself. I have been on top of my pain meds so I am feeling good and just have some tightness. I would 100% recommend getting one of those girl urinal things so you do not have to sit down to pee the first couple of days. I did the hyperbaric chamber today and that was nice as well. I will update in a couple of days. So far so good though!
