3 weeks post op
• Hi guys! Sorry for the late update. The last days since surgery, especially day 4-9 post op have been pure HELL. I didn’t know that the doctors had to be so extremely restrictive with painkillers in California, and I was used to them at home because of an old injury. So, four days post op I was without any pain killers at all and Dr. Stanton told me he couldn’t prescribe me anymore.
• I was in so much pain I couldn’t move my body, and I had bad diarrhea and fever feelings because of withdrawal, I had to call 911 and be taken to the ER. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go through this surgery with any kind of resistance to opiates and do NOT go through it alone.
• On the ER they gave me a morphine shot + prescribed me enough painkillers to be able to move my body and go back to Europe. Thank God. I was still in bad pain until almost 2 weeks post op though. I moved around with crutches, that helped against the muscles cramping. I rarely slept anything for a whole week because of burning and shooting pain sensation in my legs and stomach while lying down.
• Now it’s 3 weeks post op and I’m starting to feel much better, I don’t have to move around with crutches anymore and I sleep much better. I still experience a bit of anxiety since I love working out and did a lot of yoga before the surgery, so it feels surrealistic that my normally strong and flexible body is now as stiff and weak as a 90 year old person.
• I just tried sitting down for the first time, and it doesn’t feel ok at all, so I think I should wait another week. Oh, and I still walk like a duck - with my legs wide apart, that is. When did people here start walking like normal again after their butt implant surgery?
• There are probably a lot of things I’ve forgot, so just ask me if there’s anything more you wonder about. I’ll try to update once a week, but I can’t promise anything. I’ve been so extremely tired since surgery, and having to walk my piggy outside 3-4 times a day since 7 days post op has been and is still a big challenge, but it’s getting better by each day thank God.

Hey girl can you tell me about the flight home and what u had to do in order to be semi comfortable ?? I’m worried about the long flights for me back to Alaska
I’m so sorry that you had to suffer like that because of this country’s excessive reaction to the opioid epidemic here. Because many people misuse pain medication, now doctors are going overboard in the opposite direction and often aren’t prescribing enough relief for people who have a higher tolerance for this medicine. It’s just as serious a mistake as over-prescribing. I am not sure why we cannot seem to find a balance here and realize that not everyone will need the same amounts of medication. It sounds as though it wasn’t your physician who didn’t want to help you, but rather the state of California implementing ridiculous regulations. In the end however, your results look absolutely amazing.

Day 1 post-op: Hate myself + lots of trouble with pain and sleeping + videos
• I hate myself so much now! I really thought I would be able to eliminate all my pain meds a few weeks before surgery, to “neutralize” my body, but I couldn’t, which is now resulting in me having crazy intense pain because of very high tolerance to the meds.
• Since the butt implant surgery ended about 1,5 days ago I’ve barely had 2 hours of sleep all in all and I’m so extremely restless and swollen. Feel like my ass is pounding of pain and double the size because of swelling since yesterday. Maybe I would heal better if I at least could sleep. I just want to cry right now. I don’t know what to do. Feel so helpless.
• If I know myself enough by now, I will be short of all pain meds in just a few days and I’m so afraid of this. I don’t blame Dr. Stanton at all for this, he prescribed the exact right amount of everything in the beginning - their pharmacist did totally wrong though (didn’t give me what Dr Stanton had prescribed) but it’s a story of itself and I don’t have the energy to get into it know.
• A few hours ago my body started shaking like mad because I was so cold and my gluteus muscles cramped. It was absolutely excruciating. I went to the shower and put some hot water on my legs and that helped a lot thank God, made my muscles relax a bit.
• When did the pain start declining for you girls who’ve had implants under the muscle? Do you know if someone like me can turn to a private doctor for help with my pain here in there US? I don’t want to (and probably can’t) bother Dr. Stanton with this issue has anymore because of California’s state regulations. I don’t want to be a difficult patient either but I also don’t want to experience this much pain....
• I’m so angry at myself right now who just couldn’t stick to my original plan... I wish I was home in Europe again so I could get help for all this, because they know me and that I’m not lying just to get more pills, I just want the pain to be somewhat bearable so I at lest could sleep a few more hours.
• Sorry for the rant, I don’t know any other way to get this frustration off my chest right now :((
• Oh, and here’s new videos of my high sitting, very swollen, cramping booty from today, 1 day post op. Poor thing, it doesn’t look too happy.. lol.

Girl you look fabulous! The recovery is HARD....i am 4 weeks out. It takes time.
Thanks for the support sweety!!
Sleep is hard for me too! Same position every damn night.....on my stomach
I fel yaa!! :( It helps me a little to put a lot of pillows underneath me though :)
Hey gurl! I really hope you feel better soon! I spoke briefly with dr. Stanton and he mentioned that you should try to be off the pain meds within a week. So I’m hoping you will be able to take just regular pain meds and feel less pain soon!
I’m scheduled in 2 weeks and can imagine the pain. I had a bbl last year and holy [RS bleep] that sucked.
I’m also getting my breast revised so I know I’m going to be hurting like so f*n bad the first few days!
Don’t be Shy to let Dr. Stanton and Mindy know what you’re going through, he’s your doctor!
You had a great start point... you’re going to look so good! Congrats!
Thank you so much for your support! <3 I hope your surgery goes well and that you won’t experience anywhere near the amount of pain I experienced...! At least you’re in good hands! I hope you have someone with you though, so you don’t go through the first week alone.
My surgery went well.
I stopped taking Percocet 24 hours after surgery and have been on 800 mg ibuprofen since. Couldn’t deal with Percocet side effects and have been feeling a lot better since I stoped taking them.
I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance now. It’s my 2nd day post op and I feel pretty good. And I hardly had any help... I have a 1 year old son wish I did have more help with him... but all in all I’m feeling happy with my results. Keep us updated!
can’t wait for my but to fluff

I am really sorry , butt implants is a hard surgery. The US is tight on meds not like europe .
True! Thank God I’m feeling much better now 3 weeks post op =D
Hard is an understatement!
I agree, at least in my case...
I’m so sorry to hear about ur pain. I’m praying you start feeling better soon. Dr. Stanton did mention one could sleep on their back as long as U have pillows under ur thighs/knees & lower back. Maybe switching positions will help?....
