4 years post op
Hello everyone. Now that I’m fully healed and it’s been 4 years, I wanted to give you an update as to my experience and the important things you need to know before doing this surgery.
My stomach never really got better. After much research and reaching out to many plastic surgeons, I was told Dr Salama was too aggressive with the lipo. I was left with indentations and scar tissue on my upper stomach area. The only for me to fix this is by getting a tummy tuck. A revision lipo is out of the question, because I don’t have any fat left in my stomach.
The placement of the incisions for the butt implants was horrible. As you can see, I still have pretty intense scars. Also, I’ve gone to many surgeons and none have a real solution other than laser treatment to minimize the scar. I recently found Drenison Tape from Japan which seems to be working well, so I’m actively working on that. Make sure your doctor is going to place the incisions between the butt cheeks where it’s HIDDEN. Also, there is a 1 incision option right down the crack line as opposed to the 2 that makes a V shape.
Lastly, I have slightly fuller left butt cheek compared to the right. It’s not enough for anyone to ever comment about it , but because it’s my body, I notice. When I have disposable income, I’ll probably go get sculptra injections for the right butt cheek.
I will say, I do enjoy my new look in bathing suits and outfits. I get self conscious when I’m naked, but I haven’t had any guys ever make a comment about it.
I would just say, make sure you know how the incisions will be made … I don’t know what happened to my lipo bc this doctor has great reviews. But I would not go back to the person that ruined my stomach. One day I might get the tummy tuck… I’m just tired of plastic surgery at this point!

10 weeks post op
I’m still tender on the areas where I had surgery (arms, flanks, back, bum). However, everything seems to be healing well and I’m doing the exercise/ stretch roller weekly for the scar tissue to reduce in the stomach area. I’m so happy but still can’t wait to get back to normal.
