BUTT IMPLANT REMOVAL... after only 8 weeks of having them! Think twice girls.

Sorry girls forgot to say that Dr mejia is an overly “ nice” man and the common theme is that when you have a problem with your implants he completely dismisses you. Almost to the point where you ask if he even did your surgery.
He will always say “ you will heal “ and “ “ everything is fine” almost like a robot hahah :-/
I am not the only woman to go through this with him and also similar stories to me 1 year post op.
Another thing to note, is one other girl had the same operation as me and seemed fine.. but he sent her messages claiming he HAS NEVER had any woman have seroma or problems.. and to me told me its happens all the time... so clearly this man lies alot to patients ...
Also one last thing is , i could see the implant ( because its too big for my body) when i was to slightly bend. Which at 8 weeks you definitely shouldnt be able to see.
If i can help atleast one girl with this review I will be happy. I would never want anyone to go through what I have.

Well I dont know where to start so will run through things as simple and easy as possible.
Had butt implants put it in Colombia back in august 2018 by Dr Juan Mejia.
8 weeks of HELL later in October 2018 I had them removed by the amazing Dr Aslani.
What happened in between was a whole whirlwind and rollercoaster of hell and nightmares beyond my imagination and I wouldn’t wish it apon ANYONE!
I trusted Dr juan Mejia with my life and couldnt find ANY bad reviews. Little did i know more than 35 girls messaged me after i hd reached out and explained their own problems they had had with dr mejia and butt implants.
I had my surgery done and was super happy with the results for the first 7 days.
Then all hell broke lose!
I only hd my drains for 1 day!
He took my stitches out 8 days prior to surgery and this is what followed;
-seroma- draining fluid- smelled bad - constantly had to change my pads probably 8 times per day- my incisions completely split open on both sides- wound dehiscence- my left implant had torn through my glute muscle which had caused my not to be ale to bend my left leg AT ALL!!! - mental torment everyday- i had wound vac and drain put in my incisions( when i had returned to the UK because dr mejia said i wouldnt need it even though i did)- and finally an infection (staph and something else so i was on constant antibiotics for 8 weeks)
Dr Mejia told me throughout ALL of this and his words “ everything will heal and you will be fine”
I got so annoyed with his useless response!
I stayed 1 whole month in colombia and hd absolutely NO HELP from dr mejia as he said this sometimes happens and I will be fine.
I believed him aswell but in my gut i felt something was so wrong and I started feeling generally unwell!
When i landed in the uk after a grueling flight and alot of bloodied pads that I hd to change I looked in the mirror when I had got home and found my left incision had completley seperated. Not just. Bit but wide! It looked like i had just wlked out of surgery.
I sent dr mejia a picture and his response was “ IT LOOKS FINE”
I was having panic attacks and PTSD nightmares every day! I lost 3 stone because of the stress and couldnt handle one more second in that nightmare.
I could not believe how stupid i had been to go to colombia nd trust that doctor.
Alarm bells should have rung my head when dr mejia said he has girls calling him in different countries post op saying other surgeons want to remove his implants and he then quickly changed the topic because he said to much info i guess !!!
Another thing is that when i was leaking all this fluid and going to see the dr mejia , Ivan ( the driver ) told me to lie to all the other girls who hadnt had their operations yet because it would probably make them change there mind!
He told me about so many girls who had to go back because of problems with butt implants , but he told me this ONLY AFTER my surgery with Dr mejia! I was so upset , its like i knew he had fucked it up or something.
I had to get therapy because of the mental trauma it had caused me from those 8 weeks of HELL!
I coldnt sit, lay down , have sex, EVEN going out I couldnt because i was constantly leaking this fluid from the incisions and it was burning, it was awful!!!!! THE WORST!
