Butt Implant Original 450cc and Replacement 600cc: Beverly Hills, the wonderful Dr. Stanton
WORTH IT
Some of you might have read my review regarding my lip and corner lift that I had performed on Fri 12/15 by Dr. Pearson. Well in that I mentioned that I only had Sat, Sun for a little recovery before my butt implant replacement on Monday 12/18.
Some background here.....in 2012, I had 450cc (the old ovals/slightly tear drop shape, no fat transfer: implants only) by the wonderful Dr. Stanton. Honestly the only true consideration for butt enhancement in Beverly Hills. He and his staff are amazing! I had a great result, but I am not going to sugar coat it, the recovery was long and painful. Laying on tummy for so long was maddening, but I got through it and loved the results. However while Dr. Stanton did a fabulous job there was something about the lack of profile pop in the center of old implant that bugged me. You can see the profile pop in my posted pics showing difference between old and new implants.
Never bothered me enough to do anything about switching out, why go through surgery, costs etc.....until as fate would have it I fell very hard and apparently disturbed the pocket in which the implants were placed. LET ME be very clear my original implants were behind the muscle, as they should be. Dr Stanton placed them correctly. But upon falling very, very hard in 2016 it caused the pocket to be damaged and then I started experiencing the implant sort of spinning...remember it is slightly tear drop, so after sitting and it be compacted into more of a round shape it made it easy to spin whereas it was upside down as I moved around and the stood up. Not fun to have it manually spun back in place, actually hurt. But Dr. Stanton advised me that due to my fall, that this spinning could continue to be a problem...so I started planning to have him replace them. I lived with the spinning for almost a year, maybe secretly hoping it would magically stop. Yeah no such luck.
I planned my surgery for 12/18/17 and to recover over the holidays. In the meantime I decided to have the lip/corner lift the Friday before....heal from both at same time, brilliant!
Well.... I didn't mention this to Dr. Stanton's office so upon arriving with my mouth covered in surgical face mask, I was quizzed by staff.
Bottom line I was lucky they decided to proceed with surgery, considering the week before apparently they cancelled a client's surgery that did the same thing. So ladies, please make sure you advise all doctors if you are trying to multitask on recovery, with different procedures by different doctors.
Lucky me, they went ahead with surgery and the anesthesiologist (who oddly enough was the same who assisted back in 2012 with my original implants) was very careful with my freshly operated face. Before I knew it I was out cold and then waking up with a new oval 600cc butt implants. Just for reference I am right at 5'9 about 135lbs.
I will be honest the recovery is a cakewalk!!!
Nothing like the first time, as the pocket work was already done back in 2012 so this was soooo much easier! The laying on stomach and no sitting still sucks, but all is great otherwise.
I love the difference I can already see in the pop of the new Stanton oval implants!!! I highly recommend Dr. Stanton to anyone thinking of butt implants, from someone who has done it twice. He and his staff are amazing!
