Butt implants and lower back lipo

One photo is today and another a few months ago. I think my butt is all settled. I think it’s been the same probably month 7 till now

I have always been very thin. I couldn’t locate my butt it was just my back to legs... haha
I thought ok I will start eating a lot! Working out! Got a personal trainer and everything. Sure I did get stronger and little increase after a year it wasn’t at all what I dreamed of. I’m sure it’s possible but I didn’t want to wait 10 years and live in a gym. I was familiar with realself from researching other surgeries. I started looking at butt implants 4 years ago there wasn’t that much, a lot of bbl which wasn’t an option for me. I live in Canada so there was no surgeons here to perform it.. Maybe one but not his speciality at all and I would have to stay local to him for a month or something along those lines.
The majority were in the states, but for such an expensive price! I also was concerned with some people saying it didn’t look natural and felt very very hard. I finally came across Mejia he had maybe 3-5 other butt implant reviews on here at the time. I got so obsessed ! I never thought I would travel that far for this surgery but over time my insecurity grew and grew all I could think about was how much better I could be looking. I felt like I HAD to go lol!
So I did about this time last year so I’m about 1 yr post op now in a few days. ( I deleted my reviews because I wanted to make new ones and have less personal info, better more direct answers and photos)
I thought going to Colombia would be cheaper but with Canadian exchange rate to usd With flights, rh stay and I also added on lower back lipo. I would say the whole trip and sx cost around 10k for me. If your in the US it probably cheaper and your flight will be much shorter. Mine was about a 20 hr day of flying and layovers. But this is still cheaper for me than staying in Canada risking bad results, or going to the US where 10k alone would have been the surgery fee.
I stayed at a rh house called tranquillity it showed online I would be staying at this beautiful mansion I even paid extra for a nicer room. When I showed up it was a very small apartment I checked Airbnb you could get similar for under 50$ a day. The other girls were really upset but we had no option now so we just went along with it.
So be careful with recovery homes.
The nurses and my driver Ivan were all very great. It was a good experience besides the rh home owner who was scamming everyone. ( She is not associated with Mejia and her business is now closed)
I met mejia, he is sooo sweet he speaks English so I felt really comfortable and calm about everything. Because it is scary having surgery abroad ! I felt at ease I knew I was in good hands ! If he wasn’t so far away I would go back to him for other surgeries lol.
I paid and got labs etc surgery the next morning. I barely slept ! I get there change, get photos taken, lay on bed thing.. get iv then pushing the bed down a hall I pass out. I wake up crying lots of pressure. I remember wishing my mom was there lol I asked for ice the nurses there gave me some and juice. Then after awhile go into another room my nurse dresses me and wheel chairs me to car, Ivan takes us back I lay in the back seat on stomach. Feeling groggy and gross get back to rh fall asleep for a few hours wake up text my bf and mejia he sends me before and after pic. We talked about 500cc but only 390cc fit in me and 250 cc of lipo per side on lower back.
I can’t imagine having 500cc now lol
I wouldn’t say the recovery is too bad honestly you have pressure but that’s it I was never really in pain. I never got any infection or wound healing issue. I did have the pain pump. And I had my drain out maybe day 2 or 3 I think. I had a massage everyday it felt so good I could fall asleep during it other girls said it hurt so bad but I didn’t get as much lipo maybe. It is kinda gross like fluid comes out and falls to your sides lol but so relieving. Sleeping was really annoying and I was afraid to sit until day 5-6 I only did to start practicing because I was going home soon. But before then I was at the mall walking around it was fine. They have a really nice mall there and a had a nurse who was around my age and spoke English so it was fun. At the same time it was like a vacation I went on by myself lol
My flight home was not enjoyable but I wasn’t in any pain. I did have the booty pillow I felt though it’s not hard enough you need more support on your thighs I used it with my neck pillow sitting against my lower back so that helped. I was leaking a lot I had to keep changing my padding. So many people were staring at me ass I was so self conscious I wasn’t used to it! It takes a little while getting use to. I don’t even notice that much but my boyfriend says people look all the time! If I am out drinking in that environment guys will come up to me and usually say something about it and there is always a girl to ask me.. What workouts do you do or if I have any tips. I don’t even feel like my butt is that big but maybe for my body it’s on the almost big side ? That’s why I’m happy I didn’t get it any larger. I don’t feel comfortable telling people or strangers about my surgery because it is a personal thing for me if they are interested they can research online and here I share my experience for that.
Sometimes people say I have implant so I let these people bothering me grab my butt and then they don’t believe I do any longer, they ask if I got fat transfer! This is why I like Colombian implant over US implant which is solid. The implant I got is silicone, it is not a breast implant they are made for your butt the doctor even shows you the package and gives you all the information on your implant.
Recovery at home was ok just keep it clean, I kinda massages my lower back lightly and butt in the shower. I would clean with hydrogen peroxide 1-2 times a day, use organic non scented baby wipes to clean every time
I change my bandage which was whenever I went to the washroom or I felt any liquid on the gauze and sometimes I could put polysporn on. I had sex the 2nd night home so I think post op day 9. It was ok but the next day my butt was so sore like I worked out insanely hard at the gym. I didn’t really do anything tho lol. My drain hole and incisions were healed by 2 or 2 1/2 weeks I would say.
Sitting or laying certain ways was really awkward for the first month or two it got better every week but it just felt off. A lot of girls don’t like the implants too much at first or after a week or two but your muscle is so tight it takes time to loosen up and fluff out. It’s higher and tighter at first give it 6months to 1 year to see full results I say. I was prepared for that but I see a lot of girls reviews where they aren’t aware. I really think they assume the implants are in and I should be all good now. No!
One of my implants came out of place I believe I’m not in any pain and you can’t notice is naked or with clothes on standing or walking but when naked and I go in certain position I can notice it. At first I was really afraid I messaged mejia he said it was really not noticeable although if I want I could have revision on that implant but the hassle of flying all that way I wasn’t so interested and since I’m not in pain and I try showing my bf he doesn’t notice I don’t care so much months have gone by now and it hasn’t changed or got worse so leaving it be for now. All surgeries carry a risk and defiantly if implants are involved.
Overall I love my implants they are really life changing, I am so much more confident and happy with my body because them.
