I stayed at the VIDA Recovery Boutique for 8 nights after my butt implant removal surgery.
The first 2 days were pretty shaky — wound cleaning and staff assistance were minimal and slower than I expected. After that, the team really stepped up and became very attentive and caring. The nurses were helpful, the food was good, and I felt well taken care of for the rest of my stay.
One important lesson I learned: 8 nights was not enough. The trip home was extremely stressful with flight delays, tight connections, and having to run through the airport. Next time I will definitely book a full 2 weeks at the recovery house. You don’t realize how valuable that extra recovery time is until you’re in the middle of travel afterward.
Overall I would recommend VIDA, just plan for more time there than you think you’ll need.
