It took me a few years to build up the courage to do this surgery. I have 2 children and I've been very insecure about my stomach since my first child. I had my TT on June 6 so it's been less than 48 hours.... Although I'm still having a lot of pain when getting up to go to the bathroom, I'm very happy with the decision I made to have this procedure:)

6 days post op:) one drain removed

YungMom
So I am 6 days PO and every day gets a little better:) I had one of the drains removed today, which I was terrified about but it wasn't as bad as I thought. It was more of a weird feeling than pain. Best way to describe it..... I felt pressure in my upper stomach and then it felt like a gush of fluid went through my somach???? so not too painful but definitely weird... Something you may want to lay down for if you get queesy easily... After a few deep breaths, it's all done and over with though:) I still have one more to get removed????????

15 Months PO... Going for scar revision

YungMom
I haven't posted in a very long time but I am now 15 months PO and going for scar revision next week. I am going to be awake for the procedure and very nervous. Has anyone had this done? If so, please comment and let me know what it was like, if it was worth it, etc.
Thanks:)

Can you give me some tips before the surgery. I'm still deciding and very nervous.

Definitely get it done:) It is painful for the first few days but gradually get better. It is very worth it though! My best advice is to make sure you will have someone to help you get around for your first couple days after the procedure

I did scar revision on my breast lift, also awake. It was not a big deal for me, and the results were definitely worth it for me! It is another round of healing, but it was not as major as the first one. Hope that helps and good luck! What part of your scar are you revising and why? I was actually going to comment that your scar faded nicely!

Thanks for the reply:) I am getting the centre of the scar lowered and thinned out. I also have a touch of dog ears I want to get fixed
