WORTH IT$9,000
Couldn't get anyway with NHS in UK only way was to pay. Over the years couldn't take any more back pain or comments at my age thought it would never happen now. Booked in and had op on Monday, a few complications over the last two days but mainly to do with pluresy ! Over the moon with the results, my surgeon has been fantastic, doesn't guarantee a size goes with your frame which suited me fine. He couldn't have done a better job, so although early days yet I just want to say ladies don't think it's not worth finding the money for , it's your life, wish I had done it years ago now but always felt guilty spending money on me..do it and move on I feel ecstatic want to show everyone !, might not be a good idea just yet!

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! My mum was 49 when she had hers. She was a similar size to you. She told me the same thing - the only regret she has was that she didn't do it years ago, but better late than never! The NHS is just hopeless. She worked in the NHS and said she gave up and went private because she couldn't face the ridiculous wait, even though she desperately needed it, and even though she worked in the breast team at the hospital!!!
It's so hard for us to spend money on ourselves isn't it? But what a feeling when we do and when it is for something so worthwhile! Enjoy your new boobs! I am British but living in California, and my op is May 16th. I'm right behind you! Funny how things work out. I almost went private in the UK back in 2012 but it all fell through, and then I ended up moving here and insurance are covering mine 90%. If I had gone through with it in the UK it would have cost me 5,000 pounds (sorry, no pound sign on this keyboard!). Now, with insurance here, it's going to cost me 500!
