I had a tummy tuck with Dr carver and I am beyond pleased with my results. I had a great recovery and no issues whatsoever. Dr carver is truly an artist, I’m in love with my body and I finally feel normal again.

After a lot of research, I knew Mr Nigel Carver was the surgeon I wanted to perform my tummy tuck.

I wanted to get a couple of consultations and I’m so glad I did. It gave me the ability to compare the information provided and reinforced my feeling that Mr Carver was the right surgeon for me.

When I met Mr Carver, I knew immediately he was the surgeon I wanted to perform my surgery. He was such a lovely man and so kind! He discussed the procedure in detail, giving me all of the information I needed. He had a way of making me feel good about myself before even having the surgery.

I booked the surgery with his amazing PA Sky the same day. Sky is an absolute credit to Mr Carver and has been amazing throughout this whole process.

Mr Carver met me the morning of the surgery, again discussed everything with me and made sure I had all the information I needed prior to surgery and answered my questions. After surgery he came to see me the following morning and gave me his phone number so if I had any issues at all I could call him. He called me at home to check in on me which I couldn’t have been happier about.

Above and beyond all of the above, I am absolutely thrilled to bits with the results of my tummy tuck. Mr Carver has made me feel happier about myself than I’ve felt in a very long time. The incision is healing well and I have a beautiful flat tummy!

I've now had two procedures with Dr Carver, my first being a tummy tuck in June 2021 and this more recent breast uplift with implants in Sep 2021. The results from both operations have been amazing. From the outset you feel reassured you're in the best possible hands (literally). He'll talk through all your concerns and questions and give you honest, straightforward answers. I have come away from both procedures with much more confidence and positivity, which is life changing. I cannot recommend Dr Carver enough. But I also found how highly regarded he is amongst his peers and other medical professional too... several nurses told me they'd like procedures but wouldn't even consider it if they couldn't have Dr Carver. After seeing his results times after time, they wouldn't go with anyone else. If that's not high enough praise, I don't know what is. I for one will certainly be going back to him for anything else that needs doing in the future. I'm extremely grateful i decided to do my research and found him.

I am 29, now 10 week post op and this was my first experience of plastic surgery.

I have wanted implants and an uplift for many years and also spent many years researching different surgeons.

I cannot fault Dr Carver from my 1st consultation to my last follow up appointment he has been caring, informative and professional. My abdominoplasty results are beyond anything I could’ve wished for and I would recommend him to anyone.

I saw 3 consultants before being (highly) recommended to Dr Carver. He had a long waitlist and I nearly out of impatience went somewhere else. I am so pleased I took the advice to wait and see him.

From the first consultation his expertise shone through, a cut above the rest. Dr Carver was confident and honest about the expected results and when I quizzed him he explained everything very clearly and drew diagrams. After having 7 children I really needed a breast augmentation and uplift as breastfeeding left me with small sagging empty breasts.

I have been toying with the idea of having rhinoplasty surgery for years - since I was in school as id always hated the bump in my nose. I had a consultation 10 years ago but didn’t go ahead as other priorities took over. I went back again and went ahead with the surgery and I’m so glad I did. Dr Carver was very honest about what was and wasn’t achievable and realistic and doesn’t just tell you want you want to hear. Dr Carver and all the team involved from PAs to nurses were so helpful and made every step of the process a breeze. I finally have the result I wanted, with a natural look without changing my appearance too much. I couldn’t be happier with the result!

Just a little background, I am a 55 year old woman that has had two children and although I am a none smoker and like going to the gym I thought I would be too old to consider having a abdominoplasty, (tummy tuck). I had spent a year researching and even had a consultation with another surgeon that just didn’t feel right to me but after meeting Dr Carver for the first time at our consultation he made me feel totally at ease and I just knew I wanted to go through with the surgery.

I arranged to have the surgery at One Hatfield Hospital and the day of the surgery I was a little nervous, Dr Carver came to see me in my room in the morning and put me at ease yet again. After the operation I was comfortable with a small drain coming out of one side of the wound and I was fitted with a catheter. All of which was totally painless and nothing to worry about, Dr Carver also came to my room to check that I was doing well. I stayed in hospital for two days and was so well looked after, I left a separate review for the hospital as they are amazing there.

The first week of recovery is the most uncomfortable, not being able to stand straight, can’t bend down to far either, trying to lower yourself on the toilet and sleeping on your back with your legs bent and supported is tiresome. I also found that by day 5 the swelling got a little uncomfortable to the point I was worried and called the hospital to speak to Dr Carver, after sending him some pics and talking to him on the phone everything was as it should be. But I am now 8 weeks down the road of recovery and feeling amazing, every morning I look at my tummy in amazement, it’s early days still so yes my tummy dose swell slightly by the end of the day but I had my last consultation with Dr Carver this morning and he assures me this will settle down. I can’t thank Dr Carver enough for giving me my confidence back, I can now wear the figure hugging dresses i once loved but had to stop wearing, I don’t feel like I have to hide my belly under over sized clothes, and can’t wait to book my first holiday.
