I've always been happy with my figure apart from the size of my boobs. I finally decided to take the plunge and have breast augmentation 3 years ago & I could not be happier! Quite a few friends of friends recommended going to see Nigel Carver at Holly House in Essex & after looking him up online for reviews & to check that he was BAAPS registered I booked a consultation. He was brilliant, made me feel at ease, talked me through everything, answered all my questions, took measurements & was not rushed at all. Above all else, he completely listened & understood the look I wanted. I just wanted my boobs to fit with my frame (I'm 5ft 8 & have hips on me!) & to look very natural. I was a 32 full A / small B beforehand & wanted to be able to buy dresses that fit both top & bottom. My options were (I think) 280, 315 & 380. I was leaning towards the smaller ones as I was so worried about them looking fake but he uses anatomical implants and was going partially under the muscle & he said because of my height he would pick the 315. So glad I took his advice, definitely knows what he's talking about! The care I had whilst staying at Holly House for the op & 1 night stay was second to none - exceeded my expectations completely. My blood pressure went through the roof in recovery but they handled it so quickly all was back to normal in minutes it's just that my BP reacts rapidly to any kind of pain & I had a bit of a burning sensation where the incisions are. Gave me drugs, it disappeared & I was fine. I'm a baby with pain & I would only rate it a 4 out of 10. I can't say I had any pain after that at all, my boobs were just tight & a little sore. Everyone from the surgeon to the nurses to the reception staff were unbelievable. Everything healed up nicely & 3 years down the line my only regret is not doing it sooner! Are your implants tear drop shape. I've been thinking about having implants for a number of years and finally has a consultation yesterday. The surgeon recommend the tear drop would be best for me and more natural. Yours look very natural

Hi, yes my implants are teardrop shaped. They do look very natural which is what I wanted & I'm very pleased with them. The 315 took me from a 32 full A / small B to a 32DD :)

They do look very natural. My surgeon suggested a 350cc not under muscle I'm a small b breast feed two children he said that he reckons that would give me a full c to a small d. My biggest concern is I don't want to look to big. I'm 5.10 and I'd say same frame as you. Did you have any concerns with implant moving being tear shape? Sorry so many questions lol defo going to go back for some more info

I didn't worry too much about the implant moving, they are textured & the pockets made by your surgeon for these types of implants should be small to make it a tight fit. For me, the natural shape that the teardrop would give me outweighed the risks of the implant moving but everyone is different. My sister had round implants (she has kids) but had them partially under the muscle so they do look pretty natural too however her surgeon (wasn't Mr Carver) gave her a larger implant and hers have dropped a lot 4 years later so she feels that she would need a lift next time. No worries about the questions, best to be sure before you go ahead with it! Are you seeing other surgeons to get other opinions?

Hi, thank you for sharing. This is exactly what I want :) I saw a surgeoun and he advised mentor moderate plus 275cc/300cc round implant under the muscle. Can I adk what implants did Carver used? I'd love a consultation but he's fully booked till end of march!

Hey! Carver used 315 tear drop high profile for me. What sort of size are you now? Have you tried Simon Withey? He's specialises in facial & breast surgery. Fantastic surgeon (you can check my other review) and i honestly could not recommend him enough. Plus he's BAAPS president so you can't really get any higher than that. He fixes a lot of the botched boobs done elsewhere including a lot from the clinic that messed up my nose! Worth going to see x

Mine are Silimed which have since been banned but seems they are ok so not too worried. Not sure what ones Carver uses now that you can no longer use them!

Hey, he prefers you not to wear one as he feels that they settle better without. I bought some crop tops from primark just so that I felt a little bit covered up but to be honest I can remember even wanting to get them off at the end of the day so I don't know how anyone wears sports bras after! I felt so much better when they were 'free' lol
So glad you're happy with your results...you look great! It's great to hear from members who are 3 years post op! You chose a nice size implant for your height and figure. How did your family and friends react to your new look?
Oh that's great your friend actually got surgery too!
