Worked Ony on One Side. Result Uneven Face

I looked into this treatment for a long time as I have always had a very chubby face. I knew it would not go away with time as my mother has the same kind of face, so surgery was my only option. When I first talked to my surgeon about it he said my face was perfect for the surgery and even told me it would help me age better as the weight from my cheeks would make my face sag faster if I didn't do something about it while I was still young. At this time I was 100% sure I wanted it done (even though I found ZERO evidence fo his claims that it would help me age better) but I knew I didn't want to age like my mother. She has an AMAZING body that a 20-year-old would be jealous of, but her face is too chubby and as she grows older it has started sagging a bit. I decided to wait after my wedding in case anything went wrong.
I got married in late July and right after my honeymoon, I went in for my surgery. As soon as I went in the Dr injected both my cheeks from the inside, kind of like when you go to the dentist, and I felt numb immediately. He said that was the hard part and I was super happy because the injections didn't hurt at all. Sadly, my happiness didn't last long. He took his time posing for the cameras as they were doing a commercial of sorts and he just left me there. By the time the surgery actually started I swear I could feel EVERYTHING. He started on my left and it was very painful, but I didn't feel the incision, only the tugging. I let him know I was very uncomfortable, but he brushed me off. By the time he got to my right side, I even felt the knife as he broke the skin. The nurse said ''You shouldn't have felt that!'' and looked horrified. She gave me another shot, but it was too late, I was in agony. That's when I heard the nurse asking the Dr what he was pulling, he answered that it was my fat pad. She didn't seem convinced. Know I know she was right.
Finally, it was all over and I went home with ice on my face and pain killers. The swelling wasn't bad at all and I went to work the next day. The hard part was not eating, as the doctor instructed a liquid diet for 3 days, the first day only water was allowed :(
I was on antibiotics for two weeks and that was that.
The results didn't show until the second month, but only on my left side. I thought my right side would soon follow, but no. It's been over 3 months and only my left side seems more defined, I see no change on my right. Well, at least no positive change. Seems my right eyelid is droopy thanks to this surgery. I didn't notice it at first, but my mother and a close friend have commented on it (and I didn't tell them anything about my surgery). It's very slight, but it slowly shows more and more.
I seriously think my doctor touched a nerve or muscle tissue o my right side and wasn't willing to admit it to his assistant when she asked. If this hadn't happened I would most likely be very happy with this procedure as I do like how my left cheek improved.

Did you ever do a follow up with him or another doctor? I'm wondering if the fat pad on the right side still remains? Am considering having this surgery but reading this is giving me second thoughts!
