Buccal fat removal and chin liposuction

Dr T and his nurses were great. They made me feel comfortable and safe throughout out my experience. My 2 procedures were done under local anesthesia and they went smoothly with no issues. I had no bruising and my stitches healed very fast! I noticed results right away and am really happy with my whole experience!

Ive always had the largest cheeks. I mean what most people call chubby cheeks is nothing compared to mine. Its the first thing anyone notices about me. After research and finding a surgeon I liked I decided to do buccal fat removal and lipo under local anesthesia (awake). The day of surgery i was so nervous. I was prescribed 0.25mg of xanax and took 2 and felt that they barely helped. I definitely wish I had taken more to be less anxious. The overall experience is uncomfortable but its surgery while awake so what do u expect! I wish I had tooken more xanax to be more out of it and make the procedure more comfortable. I should have told the doctor and nurses I didnt feel the anxiety meds so I could have gotten a higher dosage. (Theyre there to make u comfortable so dont be afraid to speak up!). During the procedure You dont feel pain, nothing makes u say "ouch". But u feel lots of weird sensations. You feel the tugging during the lipo and feel the fat being pulled out of your cheeks. So. Many. Weird. Sensations. But overall its not terrible but dont expect a day at the spa! Youre super sore after which I feel like many reviews on here dont mention. And I mean super sore. You cant talk, or move your neck/head. This isnt to scare anyone away I just feel like the reviews on here give false expectations that the next day you wake up and are perfectly fine. But Im 4 days post op! I already see results and its so worth it. The first three days were rough, but by day 4 youre feeling back to your normal self (so push past those first few days!). These are my 4 day results so far :) i still have stitches in so im no where close to being fully healed! Lmk if anyone has any questions, i know I had so many before the procedure.
