Buccal Fat Removal, BEST EXPERIENCE!

Dr. Aflaki & the whole team at Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg are very kind & professional. He did my buccal fat removal in December 2020 & I am one week post op & feeling 100% myself. I was in little to no pain post op & had minor swelling for the first 4 days. I was able to enjoy New Year’s Eve with my family (2 days post op) & no one could even tell I had anything done. The swelling made it look like my regular chubby cheeks I had prior to the procedure. The procedure was done very quickly & my significant other was able to wait for me in the car. They received several updates while I was having it done & were at peace knowing I was okay with each update! We both really appreciate the staff taking their time to do that. I took the prescription pain medication one time & was fine with regular Tylenol as needed afterwards. He prescribed a mouthwash which I have been using as directed. I recommend using straws & forks to drink/eat the first 4 days as it feels slightly uncomfortable to open your mouth too wide even if just for a spoon. I cannot recommend Dr. Aflaki enough! He took his time at our initial consult. I then saw him one more time before my procedure. He took pictures twice before & even sent me a video at my request of how much fat was taken out. I really appreciate that as I was very interested in seeing that myself lol! They were very nice & informative at my post op visit as well. I loved my experience with him & his team!
