office progress pics 6 weeks post second treatment
My tech, Jess and I were both dismayed that the most recent round of pics barely show any progress on my outer thigh/saddlebag area, specifically since we can both see marked progress in person. I am definitely seeing a small but very hopeful change in my silhouette.
what i love about jess is that she gets as into it as i do almost on a molecular level, scrutinizing the tiniest changes with me. she also is not pressuring me to do anything, and doesn't think i need more than ONE applicator next time, and AFTER another 6 weeks, on my more sticking-out side. the thought of doing one applicator freaks me out.
i'm not sure how it will all go down--pun intended lol-- in the end. i'm happy to wait another 6 weeks to see the full results.
the second treatment cost $900. the third will be $810 if i get all four applicators, which like i said, we'll see.

second treatment last week...
last friday I went in to the same office for a second treatment on my saddlebags. this time Jess and I collaborated on the placement of the applicators. She did agree that the applicators may have been placed just below the most protruding part of my thighs for my first treatment. I didn't have the heart to take advantage of her honesty and demand a deep discount, even though the second treatment was already $100 off. at any rate, it hurt like a [RS bleep] and I wondered if it didn't hurt more this time, though I make it a priority to stay silent and just zone out to a podcast the best I can during the procedure. The right side hurt much worse than the left, as if the lasers were burning my femur. but it was over before i knew it and that was that. This time around I am experiencing swelling. a few days post-procedure I have faint bruising at the applicator sites and the right side is starting to itch, which is helpful as far as self-massage goes. I am going to try and forget about it for the next 6-12 weeks and hope that that I finally will have eradicated those pointy sticky-out bits I've bemoaned since puberty. no pis just now. too lazy this new years day to do anything more than lay around napping and watching TV. Happy New Year to everyone!
6-week follow-up visit
Today i can finally see some tangible results. Really happy that I can see a difference. If you've been following my updates, you know I've been discouraged, impatient and skeptical. Also, I must admit that the dents I was so concerned about seem to have been a part of my silhouette the entire time. My SculpSure tech Jess said that it's great we can see real results at the 6-week mark, and that 12 weeks will show the final results, so there should be more improvement to come. I have the teeniest swollen nodules, not painful at all, but she said to get back to massaging them for optimal results, because fat tissue is in there and we want that to dissolve. Full disclosure, I did stop my massage protocol as soon as the pain and lumpiness subsided, but it's time to do it again. I've been working out, lifting weights and eating a lot of protein, trying to slightly reduce my caloric intake with intermittent fasting as well. My second treatment, which I will most likely do, will be in mid-November. I intend to wait the full 12 weeks so I can make the most informed decision. There will be a 10% discount as well, Jess tells me. Thanks for reading!
